From my experience and from watching guys reactions this happens when he feels defensive and also was taught to attack when unable to admit his faults. A lot of guys grow up very different from women in which they were pushed around and never taught how to efficiently communicate or handle personal failures (which is the feeling they feel when exposed to their negative actions) not to say he is one, simply that he made bad choices or acted in a manner that was inappropriate or disresptful.
Guys in general can have a hard time projecting insecurities in a positive manner that allows them to seek improvement in themselves.
How we are raised is very important to how a person acts.
If he is acting this way and you allow him to disrespect you and just forgive him he will assume this is appropriate behavior and will become more disrespectful or he will continue to act as if you felt calling you a bitch was right.
You need to walk away from him let him realize that his actions are not tolerable and understand that he needs time to reflect on himself and work on himself. Men know that acting like this is disrespecting and they also know that if they have the opportunity when not at there best they will take advantage of people they can step over. (This does not apply to all men)
As said Actions speak louder then words.
Never assume a word is not a processed action within it self when it is used to attack others.
Because these men are WEAK No they aren't even real men they are whining little kids that didn't get the lollipop...
It's sick how some men have the audacity to offend women just because they feel challanged or because they get rejected.

I can't say that I was verbally abusive like that, but I've put up my fronts to perspective. Reality is... we are all in relationship with others, humanity, in some cases... or closest loved one. And those relationships will turn up errors, flaws, misperceptions of ourselves, deep rooted emotions, that challenge who we are and what is true.

This is a funny great question because the faster the guy can turn around and start blaming the girl and making her the bad guy instead of him the better he feels I think this is one of the best questions ever because you're absolutely right it's funnier than fucked watch this happen because the girls had is just spinning thinking wait a minute you just fucked up and you're blaming me and that's when the argument starts and then it starts going off in different directions and he doesn't have to deal with what he just did
It's hard to tell without context on what he was called upon.
For every argument every person feels they are right.
How will I know if he called the girl bitch bc he was challenged or just she thinks she 2as called bitch bc she thinks that she challenged him.

This is funny cause it was my ex who would throw fits and make a big fuss/scene when i call her out on shit or when i challenge her. And i always been nothing but respectful and never have called her any names. But she would call me the worst of the names when something huge or a big fight happens.
But to reply. I think for both cases it's a matter of just immaturity and lack of respect. Also... a big part of it could be them not knowing how to deal with the situation (it may be overwhelming for them) that they end up putting up a shell of defense (they get super defensive) to protect themselves from being vulnerable or cracked or... put in an awkward spot.

Some guys have fragile and or toxic masculinity and any "challenge" to that makes them feel threatened resulting in shitty, abusive, or manipulative behavior. At least that's what I've noticed or thought. So him calling the girl a "bitch" just because she challenged him and put him in his place is just because his fragile sense of masculinity or ego was hurt 🤷🏻‍♂️

Guys call girls a bitch for two reasons. One, she is (or is being) a bitch. And 2 because they want to hurt them. Being challenged isn't necessary but if they are being challenged and they don't like it and want to hurt her then out comes the b word.
