Why did my guy friend stop talking to me after I posted a bikini pic on my story?

I've been talking to this guy for over a year and i've recently developed a crush on him for the past few months. We hung out a few times before Covid and we've recently reconnected through social media.

I admit i'm a bit sultry cos i post workout pics/bikini pics as stories on insta sometimes (restricted to close friends) and snapchat (i only have very few people on there anyway - people whom i trust).

I posted a bikini pic on snapchat visible to all my friends there and my guy friend saw it. He hasn't replied for 2 weeks now and has left me on read. Now im thinking that he was turned off by my bikini pic and not gonna lie, i'm devastated.

If he was turned off by a bikini pic than he's lame, because its not like the first time you ever posted a pic similar to that one, right? Don't be devastated, just move on and forget about him.

He rarely opens snapchat so it happened by chance. We normally talk over insta by the way.

I can't say if it was suggestive. It was just a mirror shot of me wearing a bikini, tho i admit i am kinda big chested myself so literally everything i wear comes off as provocative even when its actually not. I appreciate the question by the way.

Maybe it was because he hasn't been seeing the previous workout/bikini pic and then finally happened to see it on your story. Maybe he took it as a red flag.

3 high probability possibilities.

1. He isn't attracted to your body, now that he has gotten a good look, it isn't anything he wants to pursue and is just moving on.

2. He is actually busy and doing stuff and isn't on social media or is taking a break from social media, maybe he is traveling. He'll eventually re-join as active as he ever was.

3. He is turned off by you posting so many skimpy dressed items and he can visualize that if he pursued you and you two became a dating couple you'd still be posting mostly naked pics of yourself for everyone to look at and maybe he doesn't want that so he realizes you aren't a fit and he is moving on.

He probably is turned off as posting these kinds of pictures is "attention whoring". Men see this as a way for a woman to get as much attention as possible, to generate as many options as possible. When you show off you body to anyone and everyone on the internet it cheapens you. Men see this as giving away intimacy that should be saved for a relationship. You may not agree with how men perceive this, but there it is.

Well there are two possibilities,
1. He got turned off by your picture.
2. He got intimidated by your picture.

Hard to tell which one happened but obviously he is trying to create some distance.
