Hope not.
Are you saying you're a gold digger then?
Other pets too not just dogs yes
Maybe children and dogs, women sure as hell don't.
Too true
But women are expected to do a lot in relationships?
As well
Are they really, though? We absolutely take it completely for granted that the man is REQUIRED to do a list of things as a husband - requirements that have always been in place - so is it that awful that the wife would be expected to do some things too? I don't understand why that's such a contentious thing.
The POINT of the tweet is that men are almost never given any credit for the things they bring to a relationship - "it's just expected" - but a lot of women think that showing up with a vagina should be more than enough to entitle them to everything, and heaven forbid that she might have to run the dishwasher or do a load of laundry. Meanwhile the guy works 50 hours a week, and comes home to a list of chores to maintain the home, yard, and cars - but he ALSO needs to do "at least half" of the housework or that's sexist? This is literally the crap they teach in Women's Studies and Gender Studies in college, but it's insane.
Didn't read
@MrOracle most women work too? You do realize that
What difference does that make? Unless she does half of the yard work, gutter-cleaning, car maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall repair, shelf-installing, lock-changing, fence repair, and all of the other "man's work", why is it vital that he does 50% of the housework too?
Why do men not "get credit" for all of the things they do at home, while many women insist that her tasks are such a huge burden and sacrifice? That's the attitude a lot of women have, and it's just insane to me.
I’m not sure. You may have a different perception and that’s ok but from what I’ve seen, women do a lot and even if their husband is an absolutely lazy and abusive dead beat they’re guilt trip into staying with them because of religious or cultural beliefs on marriage.
Man are a commodity.
No, of course not.
Sounds about right
It's the truth
