What does it mean when he randomly liked my old IG post?

I got a notification that he liked my post. I didn’t post anything new in a few months so I was confused. Then I saw that he liked a post since way back in 2019.

He didn’t message me or anything, but does this mean he’s hinting that he wants to chat? Or am I simply overthinking?

uhh sounds like ur over thinking it lol. What it means is he was looking at your IG posts. Thats it. lol. Now WHY he was looking at your old IG posts, who knows. Maybe he was just bored, maybe he likes you, maybe he was looking for something totally different and ended up seeing those old posts. Maybe, maybe, maybe... no way to tell.
But I doubt he was trying to send you some kind of weird subtextual signal that he wants to chat lol. I don't know the guy, but that sounds like a reach to me.

Could be either way... But tons of people make late reactions to my social media posts. If they want to chat, they can chat, no hinting needed. I think if he feels the need to be *that* indirect, he's probably not worth the chat anyway.
