Why, would a guy be afraid to talk to a girl?

3. He doesn't know what to say.
4. The girl might be "out of his league" in looks (according to him)
5. The girl might be with other girls.
6. The girl might be with a male, who may be her boyfriend, may be her work colleague, or may just be her brother.
7. The girl is taller than and/or physically intimidating to him.
8. He doesn't want to get MeToo'ed.
9. Many girls are just rude cunts and might make a scene and embarrass the man (see number eight)
10. Fear or rejection.

Because he's afraid of messing things up. In rockets this is known as the wait equation, let's say you're launching to a far away star. Why would you launch a ship 20 years from now if the ship you launch in 50 years overtakes it, plus there would be other advances. Sort of a similar logic, it's not that they don't wanna talk to them.. more that they prefer not to now

Fear of rejection or embarrassment or don't want to bother or creep her out, and it's a fact of life that a lot of guys unfortunately or unfairly (even though I know there is no such thing as fairness) get labeled creepy or weird just for approaching or talking to a woman, yet those guys mean no harm at all.

I never understood the logic why does it make a guy look weak if he can't approach or talk to a girl first? Does it mean that he would be unable to protect her or other things?

Boners or the girl seems too eager like seriously don’t just stare at a guy because you like him it’s creepy especially if we were in a store and you end up on the same aisle as us it makes it seem like you were stalking us which I found out from TikTok girls actually do if they like a guy

Because he isn´t comfortable starting a conversation.
Because he´s insecure and doesn´t want people or her especially thinking there is more into it than just a conversation.
