My boyfriend has a lot of female friends. is this a red flag?(pls read details)?

i have been with my boyfriend for a few months now (we are in college) and he has a lot of female friends, which didn’t bother me at first. what truly bothers me is that when i hang out with him and his female friends he jokes around with them (inside jokes) talks to them a lot and mentions things that they have all done together and i just feel a little left out. I mean he does show me affection when we are all together, but i almost wish he acted that way with me like too like the joking around and talking about times together. is this a red flag? am i wrong for feeling this way?

Are his female friends from his hometown? If so, he probably went to school with them for many years. You've been with him for a few months and likely don't have many inside jokes or common past activities. Give it time, you'll have things to share and joke about.

I had overprotective girlfriend, she deleted all my female friends.
I didn’t mind about her males friends neither because of she don’t have a lot female friend or something, im just open and i trusted her !

At the end of the love story، we broke up and it wasn’t my decision.
The reason of breaking up is stupid, from that moment i knew she doesn’t deserve me because i did everything to keep that relationship.

Honestly my cousin was the same way. Unfortunately for his girlfriend he ended up being into guys. So he was gay. I don't think less of him for this. But it was something to note. Since he was having sex with females. Before he actually came out.
