It didn’t feel like a compliment so much
FTR i feel great where I am but I keep getting comments from men about how skinny I am and this man in particular I like him so I’m wondering if he is not attracted to me.
I'd lean towards the former because while I like "skinny" women, I'd never call them that. I use words like "slim". Skinny has become too widespread as derogatory. If someone calls you that, they probably want to see you more plump.
Thats more where my thoughts we’re going too
I might be wrong. Surprised at all the different comments and I have an age factor that might have me out of touch with the newer generations. But I can't' imagine a scenario left these days where someone would throw around "skinny" as a compliment like, "That girl is mad skinny! I want her!" Far more common in my experience is like, "That girl is mad skinny. She should eat more."
I totally agree I took it as he was thinking I was too skinny.
Depends on the guy. I'll say this: most heterosexual men aren't interested in bodies that look like they belong to a 10 year old boy (I'm NOT saying you have that kind of body). However, all sorts of men have all sorts of opinions on body types.
I hear the same thing from men and women both. I'm a normal weight. I think everyone is so accustomed to seeing overweight bodies that normal/healthy looks "skinny" to them.

Definitely a compliment. Sometimes I might be honest and say they're too skinny in which case I'm a bit worried for their health. Neither is meant as an insult though
It's usually meant as a compliment. It doesn't sound insulting.
I don't consider it a compliment. More complimentary words are "fit" or "slim".
In that context, it was definitely a compliment.
It just means he is an idiot.
I say its a compliment.
Me too
I think it’s a compliment
Compliment.
