That's simple. You don't show any/enough interest in him. This is and age old problem.
Women are interested in a guy. Women flirt/drop hints of their interest to the guy. Guy picks up on hints and asks her out.
But the reality is in many cases here's what happens. Woman is interested in guy. Woman drops subtle hints of her interest. She thinks she's being obvious but the reality is she's not. She is so subtle no one even knows she dropped a hint but her. She takes this as a rejection. She retreats from the guy and life goes on. No one ever knowing she had any interest at all but her.
