Reading books is interesting to other people who read books.

I like to read books, and automatically think, if I see a woman who seems to like reading books, that we have something in common. That said, she might like War and Peace, while I like high fantasy. Not everything is a perfect fit. It's how we accept the differences in others, that make people compatible.

I'm an avid reader, on average 3 books per week. In fact, it consumes my time to the point where I don't watch TV or do enough housework. hehe. Having said this, as another commenter said, reading is so varied, and I wouldn't date someone who read Sci-fi or fantasy, that is a deal breaker. In fact, I would prefer to date someone who didn't read at all, than a Sci-fi reader. I don't expect a man to think that I'm anything special or even intelligent because I read. I would hope that he would see it as me being able to occupy myself when he was busy. So, even though I read, I'm not looking for a partner to be a reader as well.

I'd be even more impressed if you sometimes read things that were substantial.

Seriously, I admire a woman who enjoys reading books. I always have one that I'm working on. And when finished, I start another immediately.

My style is read several at the same time. Cause i have different moods. I can't read dostoyevsky alone for a period straight.
