Absolutely but that walls much later and works out better for men. Women tend to want children but even if they don’t either they want a man or they don’t and if they want something like men they want it sooner.
That being said men are used to being alone without support and women are just starting to see what that’s like. As we get older for women that want kids it becomes less and less possible and more and more pressing while for men we’re good to go years longer then women even decades. But men are looking for kids less and less into their later years which is the reverse of women. And the desperation of women whom want the kids shows making it harder to attract good men.
We also are used to filling out time with hobbies, friends, and family and we men can easier suffer society alone then a woman without support. Also the things women look for in men build as men get older so we even have longer there while men stop being sexual and start being more into their lives and working with their hands. Women will hit and feel the wall sooner and longer then men.
Okay, I just read the overwhelming girls response of "men hit a wall." I can see that, I really can. But let me ask a few questions:
First, who specifically? Some men in their 20s are pudgy and unaware of their flab. Later, they learn to diet and work out, and they turn into those Greek statues! Some football players look great with their trim physique back in school, but after 40 years of working in the sun, their faces show it, and those who've been working in the mines show back problems and other things.
Regarding men who have been able to take extreme care of themselves all their lives, they look great! A lot of them still have hair, they work out enough to be toned. My father looked terrific when he was 55, so much so that I was a little jealous when I was 30!
One last thing: It all depends on one thing and one thing only (and this applies to men and women both,
BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER!
Check out the definition at this link.
All people age and eventually lose their looks, unless they die before they get to that point. The age at which that happens varies greatly depending on genetics, the level of care one gives themselves, and access to things that help keep one looking their best, such as personal trainers, plastic surgeons, etc.
I find that when people say men age better than women, they are typically comparing male celebrities who have access to the best personal trainers and plastic surgeons, to average everyday women they see at the grocery store. Obviously, that isn't a fair comparison.
There are badly aged men and badly aged women, just as there are gracefully aged men and gracefully aged women. I don't believe that one gender tends to age more or less gracefully than the other. It's highly dependent on the factors I mentioned above.
what does hit the wall mean?
if you mean getting old and looking bad, it goes the same for women..
some look really good at old age, while others look really bad.
I know many men in real life that look old and unattractive by age 25+
while some 30 year old women still look nice and young
so you can't just post photos of the Hollywood men who DO look good at old age and claim it's all men in general because it's not, it's just some men do age well or have a little help from some good surgeons.

Yes they do, but men have a MUCH LONGER time window than women do. Women's looks deteriorate faster, and they are less capable of giving birth past the age of 35. Men still look somewhat decent in their 40s, and can still have children. I would say looks-wise the wall for most men is late 40s/early 50s. Financially, men at that age are well-established though, so they have another factor that makes them more attractive to women: stability. There's a reason why most billionaires are very old, because creating wealth takes time. For the most part it's rare being both young and rich, it's one or the other. Men's resources are seen as a factor in the dating market, while women's resources don't mean a damn thing to most men, so a rich woman in her 40s cannot get a man, but a rich man in his 40s can get women.
A woman can always get a man. Always.
I agree with OP - "A woman can always get a man"... All that RedPill, PUA, Scam-o-sphere is cope, there is no proper formula to dating & life, things happen at random and that's it.
I find studies say otherwise.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_attractiveness
Male desirability to women peaks in the late 20s and does not fall below the average for all men until 36.
A woman can get a man, but there are conditions:
A) Most men will not take you seriously if you are old and single. Will they sleep with you? Sure. Will they marry? Very rarely. Why? Not only is it a huge red flag if a woman is at that age and single, her value in the market deteriorates because she is competing with younger women.
B) Which leads me to the second point. Women desire guys that make them feel safe. You hear all types of crazy standards nowadays, and it's actually true that as women get older, their standards tend to go UP as opposed to DOWN. If you are older and not as many guys like you, you are gonna have to either settle, or be single for life. With the elevated standards that they cannot really meet, most of them choose the latter.
So no, a woman cannot "always" get a man.
@shaysh87 I didn't say "stay attractive". I said "somewhat decent". Big difference. See, the gray hair is a factor, and another is balding. These can happen at any age depending on his genetics, but generally between late 30s (for terrible hair genetics) to early 50s if we are really stretching it out, and most men fall in the middle, with that being in the 40s. Also, women tend to start showing wrinkles earlier than men, so that's another factor. See, your findings on the study did not contradict what I said, because I didn't say anything about peak of interest during the late 20s, I just said they lose desirability in their mid 30s. I would assume the reason it was around 27 or 28 is because that's when most women are ready to get married and not because they look better at that particular age.
@WhateverMayBeWillBe Hey man, you are free to believe whatever you want to believe, but there's damning evidence of what's being said. At the end of the day you are entitled to your own opinion.
@shaysh87 Here's one rather extreme example:
Nas in the 90s:

Nas now (he's 48):

So yeah, that is possible for men more than it is for women.
@Datboi65
Actually tons of women stay looking good until early 30s. Maybe not look as good as women in their 20s but they still look acceptable. Men reach their physical prime a few years later than women (late 20s to early 30s). But at the end of the day, BOTH men and women are out of their prime by the time they hit their late 30s. As the article mentioned men's attractiveness goes below average after the age of 36.
And you're very mistaken if you think that all older men will get an equal shot at young women in their 20s as younger , more attractive men. Because reality is, women in their 20s have plenty of options and are usually are surrounded by young attractive men around their own age.
why would she go for an aging, balding guy, growing white hairs and gaining weight in his late 30s to 40s , if she can get a tall, young , strong man with a shining full head of hair in his late 20s to early 30s?
If you're an old aging man in his late 30s to 40s, you're likely gonna have to settle for a woman in her early to mid 30s. And frequently many women in their 30s are reluctant to date a guy in his 40s because he's seen as out of his prime.
Personally for me along with plenty of my female friends, none of us would find a 40 yr old guy to be more physically attractive than a 30 yr old guy.
@Datboi65 you are aware that you're arguing about male & female attractiveness as they age with two people (a man & woman) in their 30s when you are 20, right?
I'm 32 on the verge of being 33, my physical attractiveness peak was between my mid 20s to 30. I really wish that it wasn't BUT I don't attract women in their prime (18 to 23) like I use to even though I workout and try to take care of myself the best that I can. Honestly it sucks, as hard as I try to make things better it doesn't matter I'm competing with age, attrition and younger men. I'm still getting opportunities in some ways but I'm going to be losing those fast in the coming years as I start to look older and older.
Most things the RedPill & Manosphere teaches young men is a lie, Men do have a wall it's just not the same as a womans but not that far apart either. And you can't use celebrities like Nas or whoever else as examples because they have money & resources that 90% of men are not going to have - they are anomalies & exceptions to the rules.
Lucky for you - you are still practically a teenager, my advice would be to try to enjoy these remaining formative years, try to learn/do new things while trying to prepare for the future and figure out what you want and go for it... and as for attracting women and trying to find a partner or partners, you're early 20s to 25 will be the easiest time to hook up with women in their sexual prime (18 to 23) but your mid 20s to early 30s will be the best time to try to find a woman to start a family... that is if you want to do that.
@shaysh87 Well that's good and all, but you missed the point. "The wall" for women and men isn't the same. Women are valued by their physical beauty, men are valued by their assets. A balding man can adapt by going completely bald, bit now he got more more assets than a young man in his 20s. I just turned 20 this last December. I'm in decent shape, and I do get some attention from women, but I know it's not that "long term" attention that someone with resources would be getting, because I'm in college. Women's standards tend to change MASSIVELY once they graduate from university or by the time they hit 30, as they realize that maybe "having fun" is not all that they need in life, but actual stability and protection. That's not something a young man can provide, unless he's some type of corporate millionaire in his 20s, which let's be honest are super rare. On the other hand, Women's finances don't make them more attractive to men. They hit the wall because their most important value in the market starts to depreciate, and they cannot replace it with something else like men do. If a woman is a 6 figure earner, it doesn't guarantee her a spot dating a man who makes the same amount, and she will have to compete with other women for that spot who make less than her. They cannot replace that with something else, which is why they hit the wall sooner. Not only men's look take more time to deteriorate, but men's assets are an important factor in marriage, and they take time to build, so it makes them more valuable as they get older to an extent.
@datboi65A
gain you're mistaken. Because the truth is, overwhelming majority of men will NEVER hit the riches or the high status that you're referring to. If you want to attract women while being old and ugly, you better be close to being worth a million, highly successful, famous at your corporation. You talk as if every man in his 30s-40s will hit riches. 95% of men will never live to see something like that. And you better be wiling to spend on your wife who is 20 years younger than you. Because no young woman who marries for money will be married to someone who is unwilling to pay her.
But generally speaking , women cannot date a man without physical attraction. Just the same as you wouldn't be able to date someone you're not physically attracted to. Physical attraction might matter more to men but it really DOES NOT MEAN that women don't need any physical attraction at all. Any relationship where there is no physical attraction is a SHAM. she's just dating and fucking you because you are paying her. she's not attracted to you. She doesn't want to have sex with you either. she's just doing it for the money. This DOES NOT MEAN she is attracted to you.
@Datboi65
Its a fucking stereotypical lie that men are valued for money / riches. Because I can make my own money, I can buy my own house, drive a nice car , go on vacation. I'm financially stable, I don't need to marry for money. If you want me to marry for money, you better be making close to a million annually, guarantee that I wouldn't have to work a day for the rest of my life, have maids / servants doing everything for me.
But then again, I likely wouldn't be happy at the end of the day and cheat on you with a hotter, younger man that im actually attracted to and in love with.
Just because you have a lot of money, it won't make me want to have sex with you more (if you're old and ugly).
[Women's standards tend to change MASSIVELY once they graduate from university or by the time they hit 30, as they realize that maybe "having fun" is not all that they need in life, but actual stability and protection. ]
Let me tell you something: Vast majority of young modern women nowadays are college educated and become financially stable with age. What makes you think women do not grow more financially stable with age? By the time a woman hits 30, she usually IS FINANIALLY STABLE and has her life very well put together. Many women in their 30s already owns houses, cars. And these women will look down upon any man her age who still lives in his mother's basement (as a grown up adult who still needs mama to take care of him)
I don't know where you hear all these lies from. That men are vlaued for money. Or that women in their 30s need a man for stability and protection. I think you need a big reality check. Because most modern women in their 30s are college educated, hold good jobs, and can afford their own things. Where do you see that all women are beggers and cannot survive without a man? Did the MISOGYNISTS tell you that? Is this the 1950s all over again?
[If a woman is a 6 figure earner, it doesn't guarantee her a spot dating a man who makes the same amount, and she will have to compete with other women for that spot who make less than her. They cannot replace that with something else, which is why they hit the wall sooner.]
Truth is, most modern young women will not marry someone just because he is a six figure earner. Financially stable women can afford to marry who they are IN LOVE WITH, instead of marrying for money. Realize that modern young women are typically college educated and do not need to marry for money.
For me, I'm not gonna marry a old aging guy just because he makes six figures. Heck, I can make six figures eventually in my career. why would I have sex with a guy that i'm not attracted to, just because he makes six figures? money is really not everything.
I want a happy marriage, being married to someone that I actually want to have sex with on a daily basis, someone I am in love with and can grow old with. You can't do this with a guy who is old , ugly, unattractive, and will be in an elderly home in 10 years.
@datboi65Who
Who cares about how much money you have, if I'm not attracted to you and don't want to have sex with you? its not gonna be happy. thats not the type of life I'm looking for.
I want a man who is physically attractive enough to have sex with, someone I can see myself growing old with, someone who is not rich but is financially stable enough to start a family.
If you want me to marry an old man that I don't wanna have sex with, you better pay me millions of dollars to do it. Then I'll also likely divorce him at the end.
@shaysh87 An old man? Where tf did you even go with this? 40s is not old, it is middle aged. Financial stability doesn't occur when a man is in his 20s or even 30s. The average man earns 50k a year, and you have to consider that they also have to save for retirement, pay off their mortgage, save for their children's college tuition fees and save up for an emergency fund. All of this basically means no trips to Paris for at least a decade if not more. If you get with a young man who is financially responsible, you better be patient because you will wait for a LONG TIME for the labor to pay off. If that's good with you, by all means. However, most people want to wait at the end line and take the winners. Potential is not good enough, results are. I'm a Medical student, but I realize as good of an achievement that is, I'm not a doctor. By the time I become a fully certified physician, I will probably be 32 years old, but by that time I will be very stable financially that I wouldn't regret not doing much in my 20s for all the work I had to put into it. If I was to just go out and date girls now that I'm 20 and brag about being a Medical student, do you think anyone would really take it seriously? People drop out, fail out of school and so on. Results matter more than potential. Also, with physical attraction I think if a man is in good physical shape, 80% of his problems are gone. The other 20% include grooming and style. If he's balding, he can go fully bald and grow a beard, start wearing suits rather than dressing up casually, etc.
@Datboi65
I'm 26 and I can tell you that the vast majority of young women in their 20s are not attracted to the typical guy in his 40s. Hair loss, weight gain, balding heads, wrinkles , erectile dysfunction, saggy balls, muscle loss, is not sexy and never will be sexy.
If you're not attracted to a woman in her 40s then how would you expect me to be attracted to a man in his 40s?
If you're not attracted to wrinkly women, how do you expect me to be attracted to wrinkly men?
You're not a medical student because you seem to have a peanut sized brain. And if you were a med student, you would know that a doctor doesn't make money until years after residency, which likely means you'll be in your 40s before you make any money.
@Datboi65
[Also, with physical attraction I think if a man is in good physical shape, 80% of his problems are gone. The other 20% include grooming and style. If he's balding, he can go fully bald and grow a beard, start wearing suits rather than dressing up casually, etc.]
A man in his 30s will always turn more heads than a man in his 40s. And I'm not willing to have sex with someone I'm not attracted to just for the sake of marrying a guy who make a few more dollars than me. I'm not a beggar, I can buy my own house , car, go on vacations, raise my kids. I'm not marrying someone I don't wanna have sex with either.
@datboi65V
Vast majority of Women are attracted to men in their 20s--30s for a reason. Younger men have better quality sperm. Humans have evolved to find youth attractive. Same reason why men like younger women. Because younger women are more likely to birth healthy offspring. Young men are also more likely to birth healthier offspring.
Same reason why the vast majority of people are not attracted to fat men or women. Because fat people are less likely to birth healthy offspring.
Sure you might be able to buy a wife if you look like shit but have millions of dollars. But if she's not attracted to you, its not a real romantic relationship. Sexual attraction has to be a part of a romantic relationship.
@shaysh87 Did you not just read any of my points? I'm talking about a guy in his 40s that works out, takes grooming seriously and is successful, not fome 70 year old super rich creep. How tf is that so hard to grasp? Of what you're saying is true, there wouldn't be as much of a demand for 6 figure earners, unless women just expect guys in their 20s and 30s to somehow make that much when they are just starting out with their careers. It's such a nonsensical argument.
@Datboi65
a mans ability to get a woman pregnant decreases as he ages. A man’s ability to birth healthy children also deceases as he ages. Frequently children of older fathers tend to have more problems at birth , grow up to be more prone to mental illnesses, physical illnesses And are generally less resilient in life.
And also , I have no plans on marrying some dude that I can’t grow old with. You can’t grow old with someone who is ALREADY old. When you’re 40 and he is 60, she will be checking out younger men and lusting after guys who are still attractive and can still fuck.
And lastly , 95% of all men will never reach the sort of wealth and status ever in their lives. So you can quit acting as if all men will achieve that in their life times.
Regardless of how much money you have , I still wouldn’t have sex with an old guy I’m not attracted to. Just cus you don’t look 70, it doesn’t mean you’re attractive. There are some 45 yr old men who look terrible while others who still look good.
If there is no sexual attraction , I won’t fuck you, it doesn’t matter how much money you have. Money really doesn’t make you look more fuckable
@Datboi65
You have this misconception that money can make a man hotter and more sexy. Money doesn’t make you more sexy. The pile of gold diggers you’re attracting are not attracted to you. They are only attracted to your money. They are not lusting for you , they’re lusting for never working a day again in their lives , never having to care for their children and let the Nanny do it, they’re lusting for the luxury hand bags and delicious meals you can buy for her
They’re not lusting after you. You’re not attractive. Your wallet is what they really want to marry. You just happen to come along with it
@Datboi65 listen man, I don't care to argue all the points you and @shaysh87 are having back and forth BUT I will say this - put yourself out there, try dating NOW, believe me, things aren't just going to magically get better with age when you hit your "prime" BECAUSE YOU ARE IN YOUR PRIME RIGHT NOW!
Whatever hang ups or insecurities you have are irrelevant to the pain & agony you'll endure trying to make up for lost time when you're in your late 20s/early 30s because you held onto a flawed world view.
Get out there and try, fail and try again and again... there isn't any definitive formal to attraction, it's all random - the best thing you can do is live you life as true to you & the people you care about.
@WhateverMayBeWillBe
@Datboi65 is just constantly insisting about how he is so adamant about attracting women in his 40s because he has no game now. Likely he’s not a very physically attractive guy , not charismatic, struggles to keep the attention of women. That’s why he keeps saying he needs to make a ton of money to get a woman.
Dating is best in 20-30s when all your female friends / social circles are still single , no baggage , attractive. Why would anyone think dating would be easier when everyone around you is married?
@shaysh87 1) You write paragraphs upon paragraphs for answers, which to me makes you sound bitter asf.
2) Way with the personal insults. "You're not a medical student as you have a pea sized brain". No genius, I'm well-aware doctors start getting paid well after residency, but their entry level salary is huge as well, depending on the specialty, but that's not why I picked the field of medicine. That is another story for another day.
3) Are you really 26? Why does your profile say 30? I don't see a reason to lie about your age, as it is really easy to set your age up on this website.
4) You are one very slow individual. No shit most men won't make six figures, they are called the TEN PERCENTERS FOR A REASON!! There's no denying however that most men who run the world are older and higher in status. There's mediocrity, and then there are overachievers. I believe humans are capable of what they work towards. Women making money in their 30s? Miss me with that bullshit. Why do they complain about the gender wage gap then? If women were so rich and successful with their degrees, why do they beg for higher salaries, rather than start their own economy? Aha, because that's not how that works. Your degrees in psychology are not the same as STEM degrees, which actually make A LOT MORE, but carry on.
Also, making your own money doesn't mean a damn thing to us. If you are a bitter woman, you lose points. If you are bitter and have wrinkles, you lose more points. If you are bitter with wrinkles and kids, might as well just give up. I don't care how much money you have, Oprah cannot just have any man she wants because she is a billionaire.
@Datboi65
You’re bitter too. Dating is the best in your 20-30s when everyone is still single, look their best , no baggage , Social lives are the best. Why would you wait until all your female friends are married to start dating?
Sounds like you’re the one who is bitter on here. You can’t attract any women now so you plan on making a lot of money so you can get 1 date.
You’re happy attracting gold diggers? You don’t want a woman who is mentally and physically attracted to you?
@Datboi65
There are plenty of men who would marry for money. Plenty of men who are sick of their jobs and don’t wanna work a day again in their lives, fly on private jets , play video games all day, eat the best food , drink the best alcohol
Are you that naive to believe that no man would want a life like that?
Of course you would believe it , you’re still a kid. 20 yr olds know nothing, they’re Barely seen the world yet
@shaysh87 Also, you sound very delusional. Your bullshit feminist talk points of basically calling traditional women as "gold-diggers" for wanting stability in their life is a joke. No, not all women want to work either. Obviously a man has to bring other things to the table, it wouldn't just be his looks and money. I'm not surprised you didn't catch on that.
Also, I'm not surprised you would cheat either, because that's in your character. You would however be very offended like with all feminists for being called a hoe for it, but would call a cheating man a scumbag, asshole and a man whore. Equality, am I right? You want to discourage men from working and getting successful so you can get some form of self-esteem push for doing the bare minimum as an adult and call that "being independent". Pathetic.
Your insecurities are showing. Your time is ticking and you know it. Go ahead and bullshit all you want while you get 5 more years with that shitty attitude of yours, and then you're in no-man's land, while guys your age are most likely married by then. You call me a misogynist, but your postd are rigged with misandry. How ironic.
@shaysh87 I have no problem attracting women now actually. I'm just too focused on what I can achieve. I'm using my young years to lay the foundation for success in the future, and I believe that hook ups and dating is just a waste of time for me as a 20 year old. Now that we got that out of the way, I never said I "plan to settle down in my 40s", that's just some dumb bs you came up with out of your ass. I said I would probably be a fully certified physician by the time I'm 32. That's all I said. I will probably be married by then, that's the goal. You keep bringing the argument back to me, and it makes you look silly. The context of the debate is if men hit the wall. I said that they do, but at a much later age than women. You made some bs points about physical attraction with the assumption that all 40 year old men are grumpy grandads, which just says a lot about your world experience. I mean for a 30 year old woman you seem to have the maturity of a 13 year old. The difference between you and I is that I realize there are more important things in life than just sex and fun. I also realize that marriage is about commitment and taking vows seriously, while you think it's about marrying someone you extremely sexually attracted to, and then fucking their brains out. What a horny weirdo. I value staying fit, studying hard and getting enough sleep, while you just want to jump from one weiner to another. Do your thing, it's a free society after all. If you are at peace with your decision, then wonderful. Don't cry and complain about it 10 years from now.
@Datboi65
Money is not gonna make you look more fuckable. All you’re gonna attract are gold diggers or mail order brides who are desperate to marry for money to get out of poverty.
You’re delusional because I certainly won’t marry some guy I don’t wanna have sex with just so I can get a few more dollars that I don’t need. I have a house , car , can afford vacations. I have no reason to trade true love / attraction for some old geezer.
I’d rather marry someone I’m physically attracted to , someone Im excited to have sex with daily than some old dude I don’t wanna touch, just cus I want an extra peloton in my garage. I’m not that desperate for money. I have money
@WhateverMayBeWillBe I didn't see your post with all her bs. All I'm gonna say is this:
You being 33 isn't why you cannot get women, you seem to have given up already. I would assume you took the blackpill. You need confidence and consistency, that's how it works. I'm very confident. I'm not going to lie and tell you that I have no insecurities, because everyone has them. Maybe your hair is a certain way, or your height or something else unrelated. Etc. Everyone has insecurities, but not everyone is insecure. Being confident means you embrace those insecurities and try inspite of your insecurities, and getting results. I don't struggle with confidence one bit. I would like to save myself for marriage, so that means no hook ups or "casual dating" until I am at a better place in life where I can find someone to get married to. I was raised in a traditional household, and I consider myself religious. I just don't like what hook up culture has done to society, that's why I don't hook up or date. Does that make any sense? Unless I get married young (which won't happen), I probably will wait until I graduate from residency training, and then immediately get married after. Maybe get engaged while in residency, who knows? But no, to answer this once and for all I am NOT looking for a girl now, I just saw the post and wanted to answer the question, and I gave an honest answer. Like I said, I respect your perspective, but we have a difference in opinion. She on the other hand is a radical feminist, which is far too delusional to understand any of the points.
@Datboi65
I’m looking for a husband that I can grow old with. Not some guy who is gonna hit the elderly / nursing home in 10 years. By the time I’m 40, I’m not interested in being married to some senior citizen who can’t fuck, can’t see well, might fall when he walks a bit too fast, wants to go to sleep with I wanna party. I’m not going into the elderly home with you. It’s only a matter of time before I leave you for a younger man who can still fuck and ride motorcycles with
@Datboi65
[You being 33 isn't why you cannot get women, you seem to have given up already. I would assume you took the blackpill. You need confidence and consistency, that's how it works. I'm very confident. I'm not going to lie and tell you that I have no insecurities, because everyone has them. Maybe your hair is a certain way, or your height or something else unrelated. Etc. ]
Yea how about he’s unconfident because his looks are waning Ans he’s no longer getting the hot chicks like he used to. You’re not willing to admit that looks also matter to women,
@Datboi65
You don’t sound like you have the intelligence or academic ability to get into medical school. You don’t just get into medical school because you say you’re going to medical school. Top students with the brightest minds get in.
Actually when most people finish residency , they average 200,000-300,000 in student loans. You aren’t even aware of this because you have a pea brain,
@shaysh87 You speak so directly about the man you want to marry as if you're talking to him. What a weirdo. "I'm not going into the elderly home with you". Who tf you talking to? 😂 Sounds to me like you've romanticized this encounter in your head like some weirdo. Lady, if you don't realize YOU are the old one in this discussion, but I digress.
Oh, also statistics show that men cheat WAAAAAAYYY more when they get older and women cheat more when men are younger. Don't believe me? Look it up. Old women are definitely not as attractive, even to older men. The proof is in the pudding. Finally, I'm actually not going to graduate with any debt because my father is paying my tuition. Basically mean I get a fresh start at residency training with no debt. Most women with "degrees" have tons of debt that they cannot pay back, don't know a damn thing about financial literacy, and think that having a degree means they have accomplished something in life. Also, someone's ability to construct arguments doesn't translate into their academic success, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. "You're not that smart as a Medical student, you have a pea sized brain". Not only did you make nonsensical rebuttals to my arguments, you used insults which shows lack of maturity, and inability to accept defeat. You use strawman arguments to bullshit your way around without addressing the main topic of my discussion, which is that 40 year old men with good grooming, who work our and make a good income are still valuable in the market. By definition, someone who stays fit is physically attractive to most people.
@shaysh87 Here's another bomb for you, statistics show that around 23% of men in the United States in the year 2021 have been found to make $100k or more. That's roughly 1 in 4. That's twice as many as there are for women. Men make more than women, that's just reality. Women "making their own" doesn't mean shit to most guys. You are probably an aging insecure woman who is losing her options very rapidly, talking about how she desires young men to sleep with. You are pathetic. As a young man, I don't find your type attractive (raging, aging feminist) and I think a lot of my peers would agree. I tried to be respectful ma'am, but you are pushing it. 30 and getting older. You still didn't answer why you lied about your age? 26 years old? Is it really that hard to set it up on your account when you first made it? I smell lies.
“ You use strawman arguments to bullshit your way around without addressing the main topic of my discussion, which is that 40 year old men with good grooming, who work our and make a good income are still valuable in the market. By definition, someone who stays fit is physically attractive to most people.”
Ok so would a 45 yr old woman still look amazing if she is just physically fit? Would a 45 yr old woman still look as good as a 25 yr old as long as she grooms herself?
@shaysh87 Lady, I am IN medical school. 2nd year to be exact. I have a 3.9 GPA so far, and I just finished my biochemistry midterm a couple of days ago. I have no clue wtf you are talking about 😂 for the next subjects I have are Microbiology, Histology, Parasitology and Physiology for my midterms in case you are that interested in my life. What a loser.
@shaysh87 I wouldn't, because men and women aren't the same, dummy. You are very slow. Men don't age as fast as women do. If a guy in his 20s grows a beard, he already looks like he's 35. If a guy in his 30s shaves his beard, he looks much younger. Women use makeup to hide their flaws, but makeup isn't natural. Men and women aren't the same, so there's no way in hell I would marry a 45 year old woman now or ever. That's just my choice, some guys don't care. I realize there are women who don't like older men as well. However, the point is not about the desirability of older men, but more so in comparison to older women, aka older men have more options in the dating market than older women do. Is your slow brain picking up on it now?
@shaysh87 Are you really 26 like you claim? Answer the goddamn question. If not, thank you for proving my point. You want to be young again, but I can't blame you. You're 30. You're gonna start to wrinkle in a few years. By the time I hit 30 and graduate from residency, you will most likely be 40. Keep dreaming lady.
@Datboi65
You’re 20 years old. How are you in medical school? Medical school is a graduate degree. At 20, you barely have finished your undergraduate degree
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_attractiveness
Male desirability to women peaks in the late 20s and does not fall below the average for all men until 36
@Datboi65
[I realize there are women who don't like older men as well. However, the point is not about the desirability of older men, but more so in comparison to older women, aka older men have more options in the dating market than older women do. Is your slow brain picking up on it now?].
You’re not gonna have an equal shot of getting a hot young woman in her 20s as younger men, if you’re an aging old man. Most young women aren’t looking to date their dads , they’re looking for guys a bit older And around their age.
Take a look at marriage records , vast majority of women are marrying men less than 10 years older than them
@Datboi65
Empirical evidence has also accumulated in support of women's preferences for older men, and as you might expect, the data often overlap with those data supporting men's preferences. As this sample of Conroy-Beam and Buss's (2019) review suggests:
Cross-culturally, women report wanting partners who are (on average) 3.5 years older than them.
In online dating, women make the first contact with older men at a greater than rate they do younger men.
Marriage records show that women are marrying men who are older than they are by about 3 years.
www.psychologytoday.com/.../what-we-know-about-age-gaps-in-dating-love-and-marriage
@Datboi65
As you can see vast majority of marriages are less than 10 years apart
Muslims have the widest spousal age gap (6.6 years between men and their wives or partners), followed by Hindus (5.6 years), Christians (3.8), Buddhists (2.9), the religiously unaffiliated (2.3) and Jews (2.1).
www.pewresearch.org/.../
@shaysh87 I'm doing a COMBINED program, or shall I call it "accelerated program" for an MD. You might wanna google it by the way. You learn something everyday, am I right? That basically means I will do my preclinical years and my clinical years all in one program, graduating after 7 years with an MD degree. Now that we have got that out of the way, I never asked you to be attracted to them. You are free just like anyone else to find whoever you like as attractive. You're speaking on your experiences, I'm speaking on pure observations. There are less successful men than there are attractive women, but there are more attractive men than successful men. Let me ask you a question. In a marriage, you say that you want to "grow old with a man", correct? If you looks fade first, and we know that men are visual creatures, what makes you think he won't replace your old ass? If you say that spouses cheat due to being "unsatisfied" (which I believe is bs by the way, but that's another topic) then by you logic, why do more older men cheat on their older wives than vice versa, and who are they cheating with? Why is there such a disparity in that regards? Imma let you answer this one.
@shaysh87 There you are again with the S. I. G. N. language (Shame, Insults, Guilt and the Need to be right) "are you gay"? Well, clearly I told you I plan on getting married to a woman. With your energy, you seem like you are more of a Bisexual or even Lesbian woman for your disdain of men. I never said anything about "age gap dating", so don't put any words in my mouth. I said OLDER MEN CAN DO BETTER IN THE DATING MARKET THAN OLDER WOMEN!!! There's a rule out there that goes by the following: your age divided by 2 plus 7 is the youngest you can date. Basically, a 40 year old isn't going for a 23 year old girl, more like a late 20s to early 30s for marriage for example. The older you get, the higher the gap, but the catch is that the women also get older as well. Like a 50 year old and a 32 year old is as accepted as a 22 year old and an 18 year old, because of that level in maturity. There's a threshold that someone reaches at some point (usually by the age of 25) when the frontal lobe is fully developed and they are more mature. Having said that, you still act like a kid for a grown-ass woman, which says something about you. I think a distinction needs to be made here, since we are from 2 different worlds: I'm a traditional man, you're a modern woman. Therefore, I look for traditional women, you look for modern men. Your argument doesn't mean shit to me, because I'm not marrying your sorry ass anyway. A woman who was raised with a father who provides and protects knows a man capable of that when she sees one. She puts that at the top of her list. She looks for sincerity and integrity, something you clearly lack. She looks for a man with good values and character, but he also needs to be in good shape as well. That's what her priorities would be. The physical fitness is a factor, but other things matter more.
@shaysh87 If an economic recession takes place and people start losing their jobs, his good looks won't save your ass. If he's in a high-demand job, he won't get fired. Finally, if women really cared as much as you say they do about looks, they should approach the hottest men they find and talk to them. I doubt they would, because their ego won't let them. They're afraid of getting rejected. Ain't that a pity?
P. S. you didn't answer whether or not you are 26 or 30, so by now I figure you are a troll. I have midterms to study for, so I'm no longer gonna keep dragging this on. If you want to keep writing paragraphs instead, be my guest. Enjoy your sad, pathetic life 👍
@Datboi65
Not all women marry for money , ok? If you’re saying that most women will marry someone they aren’t attracted to just so they can get some money , you’re in for a rude awakening.
Who the hell wants to marry a woman who isn’t attracted to him but is mainly attracted to his money? I don’t know what kinda guy would see that as an ideal marriage
Id rather date a guy who I can see myself happily fucking for many years to come + someone that I’m in love with + someone I can gracefully grow old with than to marry some old man for money.
[Finally, if women really cared as much as you say they do about looks, they should approach the hottest men they find and talk to them. I doubt they would, because their ego won't let them. They're afraid of getting rejected. Ain't that a pity?]
Still doesn’t make guys in their 40s more attractive than guys in their 30s.
Maybe you should approach some 20 something yr old girls when you’re in your 40s and see how few women would actually be interested. And of those few who are interested, how many of them are gold diggers,
I think guys tend to "age better" because we're fertile practically forever. Before you get jealous, remember that our libidos basically stick around until we die as well.
Plus a lot of masculine characteristics and age characteristics coincide. Like, men's skin actually ages slower than women's, but it has more connective tissue so it looks thicker earlier.
So when we judge attractiveness, it isn't so much that women "age worse", but more like "we are more attracted to age on men". Or perhaps that everyone becomes more masculine with age.
As women age they do tend to gain a few things. Like there's definitely something to be said about "matriach" beauty. It's a shift towards a beauty you don't have "the hots for", but it's more the authoritative and graceful beauty of a matriarch. Meryl Streep comes to mind, here. Carrie Fisher to a different extent, but mostly because she was badass.
Everyone becomes more masculine with age? Some of you act like scientists with new theories 😂. How is losing hairs and muscle mass more masculine? 😂
People become less hairy and muscular with age. Not very masculine.
we obviously do, we just dont hit it as fast as women do. unfortunately there are some of us that do hit the wall as soon as women and so far the only men I know who have are Russell Crowe, Val Kilmer and Brendan Fraser

I don't really like the "hit the wall" expression.
But yes, men too reach a point, where their desirability diminished. Such as
@This_Is_My_Opinion8
I'll just take it as a compliment 😎
True xD
I don't understand when people say men get hotter with age. It is not true. Every handsome man was way hotter when he was young. His hair had more volume and he had no receding hairline. The eyebrows were thicker and darker. The face wasn't so bony and lips were fuller with a beautiful colour. People also get fat with age.
For sure
i think u cherry picked ur pictures to try to persuade your point more i noticed u didn’t include ryan gosling, idris elba or jon hamm. Why do women get so upset at the notion that in general men age better than they do? Do you guys think u deserve to be hot brats forever? 🤣
Of course there’s exception like the guys losing their hair with the beer gut and the lady that still looks good at 50 but in general women hit the wall faster but i find it only fair especially when they have such an unfair advantage in looks in their teens and 20’s.
I look better now than i looked at my teens and early 20's. Call it (hit the wall) i call it (looking good) and many girls and women i don't know tells me that. If a guy take care of him self, it's good. If a guy don't even bother use a tooth brush for his teeth! I mean 🤷♂️
Of course men hit the wall. I'd say that men look best in late 20s to early 30s.
I also seem to agree with this article.
Male desirability to women peaks in the late 20s and does not fall below the average for all men until 36.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_attractiveness
Yeah I don't know Cristiano Ronaldo looks better at 37 than he did in his mid-20’s. I think the issue is a lot of guys in their 30’s are already settled down so they just let themselves go.
I’m not denying that, but I still think the mid-40’s is a more accurate cutoff point for both men and women than is 40 itself.
@Jintendo18
According to the article , a man’s cut off for attractiveness is 36. I would honestly have to agree , as a woman, myself.
Personally I’m most attracted to men in their late 20s to early 30s. This is when they are mature enough to look like men but not old enough to look fat , lose hair , lose muscle , or develop wrinkles.
But it all depends on your standards. Some people have lower standards than others,
All of those except hair are things that can be controlled with habits to a significant degree until at least 40. It depends on the person. How many bald, overweight, and people with lines in their 20’s even? Plenty I bet. My friend is 37, fit as a fiddle without an ounce of fat, and looks exactly the same as he did when he was 31 except for a few extra grays on his beard lol.
*have you seen in their 20’s
@Jintendo18
Aging and looks has a lot to do with genes. Some people look 32 at the age of 42. Others look 36 at the age of 30. Sure, taking care of yourself can help you look younger but its not a definite way that will guarantee that you will look great at an older age. Genes dictate most of how quickly someone ages.
But generally speaking for overwhelming majority of the population, men look their best in their late 20s to early 30s. And their looks begin to deteriorate year by year after that. I can't count for every single person because some people simply do not age. But this is for the general population.
So many variables, but yeah, I see your point. I’d say 25-35 myself if we’re using youthfulness as a metric.
I think that most men hit the wall when they reach 29/30. Sorry but it’s true lol. They just start to show signs of ageing. Doesn’t mean they’re not attractive though. To me I’d rather date a guy who’s hit the wall but is mature enough to treat me with respect as a woman.
Of course they do, though generally, they have a slightly later deadline, before their appearance begins to strongly decline. I've very rarely found women older than 30, to be attractive at all, yet I often see men in their 30's, and sometimes even 40's, who've managed to remain looking fairly decent. That said, 30 appears to be a pretty awful, and unforgiving wall, that affects just about everyone, similarly.
Of course they do. Sperm mobility decreases with age. Erectile dysfunction becomes more common. They get bald. They get a dad bod.
If men looked better with age ancient Greeks and Romans wouldn't build statues of young muscular men to depict physical perfection.
I don't think celebrities represent the average man.
The many guys do. But like women, men do their best to avoid it. We like to think women will do their best to look as if they are not aging. But men do the same. Just look at hair replacement treatments, testosterone replacement treatments and such. Those treatments can be stupidly expensive and the industry for both is turning pretty high profits. Though outside of hair replacement stuff, all of our stuff is focused on keeping us feeling like a man in our prime. So it can be hard to see.
Not really because they can still pull women with things other than looks. Career chasing women have been lied to by modern feminism that they'd be attractive if successful... because men don't care about resources or social clout the way women seem to. Men generally only value beauty in women, unless the pair bond has already been formed.
Well we certainly have a best before date, but it's not the same as the wall. If we stay fit we can always pull in our own age and quite a bit younger. It's not like we can always pull 20 year old females unless we really done great in life. Since resources and status is attractive to women sometimes it overcome age and looks.
Women started looking at me around the same time I stopped looking at them. Seriously, I get way, way way more attention from women now than I did at 25. Part of it was I was kinda skinny and now I'm muscle. Part was I looked like a kid (young face) Men get the reverse of the wall, our wall is when we are young and the girls look at the older men with confidence, career and money and ignore the young looking guys.
Of course, especially western men. My dad in his late 40s look way younger than many western guys in my experience. Men get bald, unhealthier, physically weaker, wrinklier, fatter, etc and their sperm quality also also get worse. So if you want healthy non disabled kids, stay away from old fuckers lol
I am also how some old men act like all young women are after them. Younger men tend to be more attractive than older men. We ain't blind. And young women prefere young men. The max age gap is like 1-6. Women DONT prefere OLD men. They prefere older men aka 1-6 years older men according to statistics. You still could get any young but immature golddigger with your money who will cheat on you with younger one.
It's different for men, look at Leonardo DiCaprio, he's still bangin hot 21 year old females.
As long as men have money and resources, they can still snag hot young females in their late teens and early 20s. It's just not the same for women they have to find a rich man while they're young, otherwise, they're SOL.
We hit women instead of the wall
That's funny.
No. Because the wall isn't primarily about looks. Its mainly about fertility. Once women hit an age where they have little to no fertility, they are essentially useless for a serious relationship in which kids are produced. Bam! Half of men have zero interest in them at that point simply for that reason. Even a super hot 40 yo woman will not be acceptable for marriage to a man who wants kids. Its not about looks!!!
It really depends on genetics and moisturizing, I think men look older faster due to many of them not having a skincare routine etc. ps Johnny Depp is SO FINE even if he’s old he shouldn’t be on the list 😂
I'd say men hit the wall around age 60+. But I think they must look as if they're going to drop dead within the nex few days in order for a women to be fully turned off.
Only if you take care of yourself and look like Sean Connery
Men definitely get less physically attractive as they age, physical attractiveness and desirability are different things. The things that make women desirable to men diminish with age while the things that make men desirable to women increase with age. That's an important distinction.
There is a saying life starts at 40
Mostly we men at young age we like to look strong enough and bright
After getting into family WA have lots of hurdles to cross but most or few keep or try better at older age
Hope girl have to try to do is harder
20, 23 and 25 year old women are sending me their phone number just this past week. Where is the wall? I'm waiting.
I'll gladly give you my contact info to forward those to.
Lol keep telling yourself that
I'm never dating you hood rat. Take your jealousy back to your nasty arse ghetto
Your profile says you’re 54. Yet you speak as if you are 14.
After age 55 men's ability to have healthy offspring declines. Not as sharp of a decline as women after age 35, but it still does decline after that point.
Womwn and men should take care of themselves otherwise they both hot wall early even before 30ies
If you only look at those example, then maybe.. but otherwise that would be a big no.
"The wall" refers to a sudden "stop" in being attractive. Men don't really have that wall, not even sure women have it or not.. it depends on your lifestyle and whatnot how well you'll age. Men age slower then women by the way.
How do men age slower? Thicker skin?
@Babygirl_S Men have more oily skin, then women.
Not at all, also 2 of the men there got there lives messed because of women they married, and I don't see anything wrong with Leo unless you are using the term "hit the wall" as aging which every human being does lol.
And even after being married to a abuser Johnny looks amazing after surviving all that trauma.
Sure... because men don't age.
Yes, especially the pretty and cute ones as you have in the examples. Fits the youthful appearance more.
It goes better for the typical 'manly' looks. Like with bushy eyebrows, beard, big/characteristic nose and other more butch features.
Yes, but usually a fair bit later than women, and in the case of male celebrities, it's usually because they did a shitload of drugs.
I've hit a wall after being tackled while playing football... not as fun as it sounds
the line is much higher I think, many men in their 40s or 50s still look great. For both genders it all comes back to how you take care of your health and lifestyle
Both men and women do hit the wall but it's noticed more early in women cause they're held to unfairly higher standards when it comes to appearance. Guys have it easier.
You’re in for a rude awakening if you think that’s true.
It’s the status that women are attracted to that’s making up for the difference. It’s something that you have control over to a degree which is the good news. The bad news is that women pick men apart far more harshly than vice versa when it comes to appearance alone, so you’re kind of screwed if you don’t have the status to compensate.
It makes sense when you think about it. Women have a very limited amount of eggs with which to reproduce, so they have to be more selective about whom they choose to sleep with, whereas many men will have sex with just about any woman if they’re horny and she’s decent-looking enough.
No, me are usually hit with multiple miniwalls.
We have it like in stages and not that dramatic. Depends a lot on our lifestyle. We aren't also valued based on our looks, mostly for other traits.
I value handsomeness.
Yes, but some guys get better looking when they reach middle age.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_attractiveness
Male desirability to women peaks in the late 20s and does not fall below the average for all men until 36.
What do you mean by "hit the wall?" Everyone gets older. Women hit the wall as well.
Imma have to disagree with Leonardo DiCaprio. He was fine as fuck when he was younger but he could still get it now too
Yes, no matter how hard they try to project their inadequacies om women. It still remains these men hit a wall.
Yes. In matter of sexual appearance men hit the wall at the same time as girls do.
Wall? What Wall?
For men it is more like a arrestor hook that takes longer to have an effect, not slamming into a wall at full tilt.
Not only do they hit the wall, they crash right through it like an out of control truck.
No. Some men stop taking care of themselves, but that's not hitting a wall. That's jumping off the treadmill. Men have to struggle and fight their entire lives. Some just stop early.
i'd say yes, At what age men do I'm not sure but at my age I've hit it.
Yes they do lol. Even though In some of their minds they still think they are the cream of the crop to young women lol 😆
Yep lol 😝
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on your genetics!
Oh absolutely. Men typically hit their prime later then women but yes they start losing it too. Just life, everyone gets fugly sooner or later.
Of course. Have you seen the average 35 yeap old dude?
year*
Yes and no. I mean men don't in the same way women do. That is just the reality of human nature. The things that women want in men just increase more as they get past 30 and 40 and even beyond. For women though, 30 is kind of a major turning point.
Yeah, in the end of the day attractive people of both genders with good genes retain their looks for longer.
Of fucking course, exemples above really show it.
"But they are still hot" they were living gods, now most of their looks faded.
Time comes to all.
I think Leo is doing OK. and Jonny could still have it... he's just had a rough ride.
but like anyone of you don't take care of yourself... you'll hit that wall
No, men can stay good if they take the time and effort.
Women hit the wall like Ayrton Senna after a night out.
Those three examples they don't go to the gym, they are a good example of physical declination, take mark wahlberg as an example.
I think the male equivalent is the midlife crisis. But that's to do with not being able to compete with other men in competence/talent rather than acquiring a relationship.
Yes but differently than women at a much later age but they also don't enter their prime attractive years until older than women. It's like 25-40 for men, 15-30 for women
No way is a woman's prime at 15. 🤮 Gross that adult men would look at children that way.
@aWes0MeNeSs you may not agree with it, you may not like it but its true.
Maybe to a pedophile. 🤮 No grown man should be ogling a child.
@aWes0MeNeSs are you calling Abraham a peado?
If he was attracted to children, then yes. No one gets a pass from me on that one. Absolutely disgusting.
@aWes0MeNeSs so now your being antisemitic and calling your ancestors peadophiles
I'm calling anyone who ogles children pedophiles, yes. I'm also calling you a pedo apologist.
@aWes0MeNeSs I'm calling you a racist.
Lol, okay, misuse that word and use it to try to be "right" about something that's clearly wrong just like everyone else who is losing an argument and only knows how to repeat that word like a broken record. 🤣 Pretty gross that you support pedophilia and find it normal, though.
@aWes0MeNeSs paedophilia is children. Humans bred at 15 all through history and civilisation
15-year-olds ARE children. There is nowhere in the US that it is legal for a 15-year-old to consent to sex with an adult.
There are lots of things that are despicable that have happened throughout history. It doesn't make them right.
It's disgusting the lengths people such as yourself will go to in order to defend pedophilia. 🤮 I'm sure the FBI would like to check your computer.
@aWes0MeNeSs hawai and Maine you can if you are 20. In oklohoma its 14.
Your ancestors were peados
There's a difference between Romeo and Juliet laws and a 30+ year old trying to screw a 15-year-old (and even those should start at 16, in my opinion). I don't care what my ancestors did, it doesn't make it right.
I can't believe people like yourself want to molest children badly enough to openly support pedophilia. 🤮
@aWes0MeNeSs in some states you can't be arrested if you are married or have written consent from her parents.
Still doesn't make it right. There is something seriously wrong with a grown adult who wants to pursue a CHILD. Worst case scenario, he likes the fact that they're extremely naive and easy to control and manipulate. Best case scenario, he's extremely immature and behind for his age, and cannot relate to adults his own age, and can only relate to children (possibly has a mental deficiency of some sort). It's disgusting either way, and no one will ever convince me otherwise. The LAST thing a 15-year-old needs is a perverted adult grooming them and trying to get them into situations they don't fully understand the repercussions of.
@aWes0MeNeSs we are all as nature intended
I guess that means we should all live out in nature without any modern conveniences, then.
They do if they don’t take care of themselves well enough 💁🏻♀️
We all do, lmao @ 46% of men voting no, y'all are funny 😂
losing my hair made an unmistakable and almost instant difference in women's general reaction to me
There's no "wall" for men , just a gentle downward slope.
Not for all of them, unfortunately.
I think everyone starts to hit the wall some time between 45 and 50.
You can also add your opinion below!
