I was on a date with this guy cute, muscular, tall nice personality he goes to the restroom and this table of guys are looking, one shouts that I’m beautiful I say thanks

he asked if that’s my boyfriend I say no, first date, they start laughing and say something in a different language, then his friend says “next date will be with me” he asks for my Snapchat or number I said I can’t. I’m on a date. he says just your Instagram i said hmm. He said just do it please quick quick before he comes, I hesitate and I’m like hmm. I think about it then I try give him it quickly. then my date comes back before I can give him any of my details tells me he heard the entire convo

I act dumb and he goes quiet then eventually tells me if I wanna talk to them go sit with them I say no it was just small talk! Im here with you I don’t want to talk to them! Im sure you make small talk with people too? he asks to see my phone if I given them my number. I show him that no I didn’t. ! then he says he’s angry and wants to leave so we go for a walk.
was I in the wrong?

Update: thanks for the input guys! I do think he was in the wrong for asking to check my phone he should’ve either, told me the date was over he can’t see past the disrespect or told me the issue at a better time. In person we left the Starbucks, talked about it and proceeded to show mutual interest in dating again, kissed etc, texted me when I got home etc. This morning he text me telling me he can’t be with someone like me because how easy I’d “cheat.”

Although this guy was just a first date, your behavior shows a lack of respect and is impolite. Personally, I would have taken you home.

I would’ve sat the date out and seen it as a red flag to not take them seriously unless they shown otherwise and I would’ve brought it up whilst we where alone instead of discussing it right in front of them. I would’ve understood it’s the first date and they owe me no loyalties but at the time they said that I wasn’t even sure if he was into me or not you know?

I think it’s very tacky to have given that info out when you’re on a date with someone else. At the end of the day it shows you aren’t giving your full attention to the person you’re on the date with and it’s disrespectful. I got hit on on the last date I went on, at the bar while I ordered drinks but politely declined and went back to my date. You should always focus on who you’re with at the time imho.

You gave him the red flag that you are possibly capable of two timing cheating later, no matter how you make it look. Get better decision making skills or you can be put in danger if you don't act appropriately in a worse situation. This guy probably wasn't right for you if you are willing to ignore him and give in to a random stranger over him

He hung out with me afterwards we kissed and disccused it more and he had me promise it wasn’t to be repeated every thing was ok. He texted me today telling me he seen my real personality and how easy I would cheat. It sucks I guess he went and thought about it

Well I didn’t get to give them my number and my date thinks I’m a cheat now so yes I lost but L’s are temporary, I know better for future. Of course those guys where probably playing a game, doesn’t mean they weren’t attracted to me though

Should I be embarrassed? Like those guys looked at me funny when they seen me reassuring him that I wanted to be there with him and not them. And anyway I did tell him it won’t happen again. Maybe it’s cause i don’t date a lot so I haven’t been in those situations before
