Domestic abuse has never been the exclusive domain of men or women, and the changes in society haven't really done much to eliminate it either. In any case, you are giving examples of exceptions, and ignoring the rule. The vast majority of women were happily married and had families to love and be loved by. More than half of all women today are going to spend the last 30 years of their lives completely alone - no husband and no children - and then their family line will die out.
It's easy to dismiss that when you're young, but when you hit 50-55, you will almost certainly feel very, VERY differently. Living alone in your old age is pretty brutal, especially if you get sick or injured and need health care. Unless you are wealthy, even if you can get "free" low-quality government health care, actually getting to and from those appointments and procedures, as well as being cared for as you recover, are horrible alone. There will be untold amounts of suffering, and many will simply die of minor conditions because they can't get the help they need.

I realize that it wasn't you personally who decided to steer society in that direction, but if you had been around in the 60s when that was happening, what do you think you would have expected? Women decided to abandon their role in society as wives and mothers - provided for and protected by men - to instead compete directly against men. Competing for jobs, competing for resources, competing for power, competing in family courts, etc. Today, jobs pay roughly half as much because there are roughly twice as many workers, reducing the leverage of all workers to demand higher wages. Competition brings conflict and struggles - something men accepted at work but didn't used to have to deal with at home.
And are women actually happier with the result? Every study says "no" - women have never been less happy. It turns out that, despite all of the feminist programming, most women DON'T want or choose the feminized men - most want the manly alpha-male leader/provider types, and choose them, even if they SAY they want sweet, sensitive, pro-feminist men. And women have traded families for 50 hour work weeks at a job that mostly doesn't satisfy them, and when they're older, and have no one who cares about them, the vast majority will really regret that choice - as many women are already discovering.
how far should it go though.. to the days in which you could not even work? to the days in which you didn't have a vote? to the days in which you were just worth a womb in a nice dress? the days in which you were promised by convenience before you even started high-school? to the days in which you were just the wife taking care of the house and looking nice while the man would sleep around and you could not even complain because women didn't have any say? or... what kind of manly macho man do you want exactly?
I think why they seemed manly then was because woman had no say. Women got married off to men parents thought best or was best for them. No right to vote so women looked to them as masters or smth.. Now that we are equal as humans there's just no need or it just reduced the way we see them now...

As society changes, so does its people. You want men from the 1900s than you need somewhat of a society like it. Of course not everything from the 1900s just what causes those men to be better than today's men. Usually most problems today can be trace back to childhood. Lack of good role models, lack of good morals/ religion system, lack of understanding what makes a man, a man ( no woman can ever truly raise a boy to be a man because she isn't a man, she doesn't have all the exp that men have. Which is why single motherhood is awful). Honestly its also due to the parents for not even trying to do everything they can in order to keep these kids from doing such shit but it is what it is
Yeah. Things like #metoo and basically looking at a woman in way she feels uncomfortable, sparking sexual harassment has turned the tables. Not saying that those things are right, but that’s what they did back in the day to make them more “manly.” It’s funny, women want the men of the old times but those men belittled, thought women were inferior, make sure they know they had there place and let them know it. If that’s what makes you think it’s manly, then encourage men to do that and condemn all that other stuff. Lol men haven’t changed. They are trying to protect they ass from opportunistic women. They were on one side of the spectrum for all of human history, and only in recent years have they been able to venture over to the other side and not be tarred and feathered.

Because now it's considered misogynist to be manly. If we don't sit with cross legs or talk feminine then we are man spreading or mansplaining. Growing up they told us to be like the one direction boys so we learn from girls to be like that. My mom asked the same thing because she liked older men when she met my dad is 14 years older than her
Not true. In the past kids obeyed and showed respect to their parents and teachers and didn't bully classmates. I definitely can't say that about today.
There’s plenty of manly men left. You’re probably placing yourself in situations and places that effeminate men frequent, which is not the way to find and attract manly men.
