I think it’s real but guys don’t want to say anything with the chance she rejects him and feels awkward to talk to him. I used to think a guy has to know a girl for years and then shoot his shot at her. Nah, sometimes the right moment happens spontaneously and something sparks sooner rather then later. Sometimes it does take longer, noticed that with girls who have trust issues.

listen, I‘ve had a crush on this one guy for like 7 years. not continuously, of course, I’ve had crushes on others as well. it’s like, I’ll like him for awhile, temporarily “move on”, then go back to liking him.
