Im not sure whether its normal for him to pull out his phone to text others, go through insta stories, chat on phone while in the presence of me when we are meeting up?
Just to get it out there, i do understand that when your hanging out with people and the other person is props picking up a drink, going to the bathroom or you guys are doing something where your not necessarily engaging in a convo, its tots okay to be on the phone for a quick text or stories but when they are back surely you would be off it?
The most recent situation, we agreed to meet up and when we got to the place i got a drink and he went and got a sandwich and drink. We started off by me asking hows he going etc, (most of the time i am the one to ask him questions), and like within 5 mins of us meeting and he unwrapped the sandwich and pulled out his phone to text and go through stories while my body language is still facing him and would of still be trying to chat you know. ofc he is eating but Is this normal? during that time i just looked elsewhere until he would talk back because i didn't want to be on my phone to kinda match that energy. I personally won't do this to a friend and pull out my phone in front of them while we are suppose to catch up over food...
If this is not right, what is something that usually you would say or ask him?
