My boyfriend told me he doesn’t love me the way he used to before?

we’ve been together for 9 months and we are are so in love with each other, we literally text everyday for hours. He lives 2 hours away so we don’t have the chance to meet a lot, yesterday we had a high fight and we haven’t talked for a day men then we made up and after a while I I asked him if he loved me the way like before and said I’ve loved you more, I asked him how come, and he told me since he got a job and I work as well, we don’t have the time to talk like before. We used to talk all the time, from morning until we sleep because we couldn’t get enough of each other and so obsessed with each other since day one. He told me he’s not leaving me and he still loves me a lot and that it can change to better again when we talk like we used to. I told him how is that possible, both me and him work shifts but the opposite shifts, he said he will talk to his boss to change his shift so we can work in the same hours and we have got time to talk more.
I believe that the honeymoon phase is over for him maybe but is it normal to feel that way? Has anyone else been through something like this?
