I feel uncomfortable that my boyfriend discussed sexual things about his ex with his mom?

My boyfriend told me that after he had broken up with his ex of 3 years, his mom kept asking him why. He eventually told her that it was because he didn’t like her in bed. They then had a discussion about it and she asked him stuff like how frequently they had sex and other intimate questions. I don’t know why but this feels off to me and makes me cringe but I’m not sure if I’m looking into it too deep. Is this a normal thing to happen?

Wouldn't you enjoy to be so familiar with your kid/s that you can talk about just everything? :)
