You know she likes you romantically but you don't like her that way. You think of her as just a good friend. But, still, you are close friends. Would you indulge and pamper her in her wishes? In a group of friends would you always be around her, gravitate where she is? Or you would keep your distance as much as you can so she doesn't get the wrong perception?

If she’s my friend, I know she likes me, and I just want the relationship to stay platonic, I will likely be awkward when she flirts and wouldn’t flirt back. But in public she would be a comfort zone for me and I probably would talk to her a lot in a club/bar setting.

In my experience usually she gets the hint and we just grow closer as friends

Honestly I have been in this kind of situation. I had a male friend whom I used to have a crush on and if we went out with other people it's was funny how he would go away from me and move to the other site of the table or just walk away, probably because he thought that I liked him romantically. From his behavior he did the second thing you mentioned about keeping his distance away from me, so his friends and anybody else won't get the wrong message.

I think i would sit her down and just be honest, tell her i only see her as a good friend, then after try to treat her like any other friend. Though i do think after knowing that, i would be more aware of doing anything that could make her wonder does he like me more after all?

Reasons why I don't make close friends with girls. There are guy friends already. If necessary, one can be acquaintances with the people of the opposite gender or friends, just not too close.

If the situation like that in your question were to happen, I'd distance myself and eventually cut them off. They deserve someone who feels the same for them and treats them better as a lover. If they're mature enough to understand, I'd amicably part ways.

We've talked about it. As I said, he is doing everything for me. He is always around me. Sitting next to me or across. And he can always sit on the other end of the table if he wants to.

I was speaking for myself... since you asked what I would do, I answered just that

in your scenario, he cannot be sure that she likes her, because she did not tell him that, at least you did not specify it

and then you are also assuming that he likes her back, but for some reason he does not come clean about it either

so... either because we are assuming many things... or because they like each other and none of them say it... this is already "mind games" being played, and by that I mean those kind of high-school stuff you do because you just do not have much experience about these things
