We met 7 years ago but only got back in touch last summer at our mutual friend's birthday, where we had a bit too much to drink and made out, and where he said he's very attracted to me. We also had no small talk as such, and he dived straight into the serious getting to know you questions (e. g. 'do you want kids')
After that, he fell off the radar for 2 months, and then reappeared asking me to meet him for drinks. While we were out, he asked if he could meet my parents who were in town (I didn't even offer or think of inviting him as it didn't make sense!), but he was quite persistent and met them the day after. When he met them, he barely spoke to me and only gave them 100% of his attention (they got along really well). He fell off the radar for a month or so again after that, until New Year's Eve where he went out of his way to come see me for an hour for a drink before he went to another party. In between these 'meetings' we haven't had much communication (he tends to initiate but if i text him back, he leaves me on read). That's the last time we met before it was silence for another 4 months until now. Now, as of 2 weeks ago he's been texting, actually replying, and calling me. My parents are again in town, and he's suggested dinner with them this week (which is he is planning rather proactively...). What are his intentions? I'm so lost!
