Why would my crush think it’s inappropriate to have me on his Snapchat even though he parties a lot?

I just so happened to see my crush using Snapchat and I say to him “Hey I didn’t know you had Snapchat?” And he says to me “I party a lot so I can’t have you on there.” So I say to him “Its not like I’m a minor” but he doesn’t say anything else after that.
