Puppy keeps taking trash out of the trash can?

I swear you have to keep the trash can in the attic so he can't reach it. Everytime I try and clean up, he goes and takes out whatever I put in it. He took out a wad of lint from the dryer this morning. 😳 Needless to say the house is a mess. I guess this is just normal puppy behavior. When is this pup gonna simmer down?

Put it on top of your counter when he’s roaming around free without your supervision and say “bad dog!” in a angry tone.. they recognize tone. Normal puppy behavior. :) what kind of dog is it?
