Why would a guy not delete your number even after a fight?

We had a huge fight after a few days of our first date.. We both were equally at fault.. But I was the one who apologized because I didn't want to lose him.. He did not accept my apology.. After a few days, he uploaded a status of winning an award in his company, I congratulated him and he said a simple thank you.. But we did not say a word after that.. Although, he hasn't deleted my number yet and continues to view my status on whatsApp.. What is on his mind?

People take different amounts of time to forgive. He is probably still digesting what happened. When he's ready he will come back to you
