He doesn‘t write Good morning or Good Evening?

He is the one to Write First. But he only writes for example an hey at 4 pm. No Good morning no Good evening. We are chatting for 8 days Now.
at first he called, wanted to Hear my Voice. Now when I call he says he was Outside but does Not call back. We are also Not chatting a lot.
I asked him and he told me he doesn‘t like to Write.

But again, he is the one to Write First. I Never Initiate contact because I felt like he didn‘t want any contact. But he keeps Telling me he would say it if it was the case. I don‘t want to always ask if everything is OK so I just keep my silence and Never Write him. And When I mentally prepare myself to probably Never ever Hear Form him again he is the one to snap or Write me

What should I do?
