Guys, What should I do to make our relationship work again?

My boyfriend can't accept my past, I mean the sexual part. He said he needed more time, but he can't get it out of his head now. Some of my friends told me to dump him for his immature response, but I like him a lot. I don't even know how to text him or act like there's nothing happened.

What does your sexual past look like under the age of 18? Depending on what it is, he may not get over it and shouldn’t be expected to. I don’t think it has always has or mostly has anything to do with immaturity. Personally, a woman’s sexual past is important to me. If there’s something I do not like and can’t find myself to get over then I move on and find another woman. To me, there’s millions of women out there wherever you go, so I think it can be rather harmful to yourself to stay with someone you don’t really like and that’s not right for you for whatever reason you’ve given that really is not a good reason looking back. How do you make your relationship work? Talk to him and be honest about everything. I think you’ll feel better about being more transparent and not feeling you’ve hidden or kept secret something, and he can better make a decision that is best for both of you. If he moves on, it’s best for him because he can be with someone who is more fitting for his preferences. Also, for you, it’s time not wasted on someone who also isn’t a fit for you.

He should realise that what ever has happened in the past is fine. I'm sure there are things he has done in the past.
I had a girlfriend who told me that she use to be a prostitute ( she was really upset and in tears because she didn't want to tell me in fear of losing me but wanted to out of respect and honesty) after I processed it about 5mins. I did have the old thought and in your case he's probably thinking that you are comparing him to them

He told me that he know it wasn't nice to judge my past, but he needs more time. If I find someone better it's okay, when he's ready he will come back and will try everything to get me back... I just don't know what to say.
