How to stop falling for every semi cute guy who talks to me (even worse if they’re nice)?

I’m fairly pretty but I don’t get a lot of male attention and have never been in a relationship so guy stuff is kinda like really stupid to me. This is gonna sound super dumb but literally time a mildly attractive guy (or someone I can convince myself is decent) talks to me or is nice I immediately fall for them. For example (more recently) I talked to a guy in a school project for like maybe an hour and even though we haven’t talked but like 2 times very briefly since then like sometimes I find myself like picturing us together to like cute love songs. It’s embarrassing and stupid but guys usually pay me no mind so even if they only kindly acknowledge me my brain goes into “this my new crush.” mode. Like at the beginning of this year I had a 5 month crush on a guy just because we made eye contacts couple times. Because I never form closer relationships with these guys and get caught up so quickly they always have crushes on girls they actually talk to or girlfriends. I’ll straight up daydream about these guys nonstop when thymes don’t even remember who I am and like literally I cannot stop it, I just want get over this. Please for the love of god someone help me I’m so sick of getting my hopes up for people who don’t even notice me.

I don't think that such a big deal but I would say it's cause you need some loving and feel lonely.
I'm mostly crushing on batshit guys personally, that's a much more concerning cases.
