An autistic guy likes me but doesn’t realise, how can I make him realise?

He gets very jealous when I’m with another guy, he tries to talk to me as much as he can, I’m literally his only friend and the only person he has ever liked talking to.
The way I knew that he liked me was when I told him I was talking to another guy, he got so angry and he didn’t know why, he said he couldn’t explain why he was angry.
If I ask him I’m not sure that would make him realise.
Are autistic people better with asking questions in person?

It all depends on the degree of autism of that person.

It may be much easier to try to convince an autistic person that "only" is afflicted with the first degree of autism (ASD-1) compared to the one with an autism of the third degree (ASD-3).

Usually, those people with ASD-3 are practically oblivious of their environment and it may be practically impossible to achieve what you would like.

If you are dealing with a person with ASD-1, you will need a lot of patience but if the realization that he likes you does not come automatically, it may require a progressive work together. However, even then, I am not sure whether the change will happen.

Are you ready for a long and committed relationship with an autistic person? It requires an enormous amount of patience. Good luck.

Go to Autism Society website. FAQ. search window.. Dating Marriage boyfriend. There are National and State ones. Exhaust your Resources as some are unknowingly violent when bad news is understood…kind like hurricane hitting land with tornado 🌪 spinning off.

He already knows, why else do you think he gets so flustered when other guys talk to you? But you haven't said you like him first, and until you do, he won't admit he likes you.

Maybe he likes you or maybe it is just a friend being jealous because unlike him, you probably Do have more friends. Jealous not because you have more friends, but jealous because he can't talk to you while you are talking to someone else.

I said I like him too. Not entirely sure what’s gonna happen, but at least our feelings to each other have finally been admitted. He lives about 2 hours away from me, haven’t had a chance to see him. When I see him next, then we will see what happens

That hardly narrows it down to ‘he likes you’. Maybe he thinks that by spending time with someone else, you’re not spending time with him as a friend.

I asked him and he said he doesn’t know what it means to like someone. That’s how unaware he is, he said he has never liked anyone and that he can’t explain how he feels some times when it comes to me.
