Most just don't want to. Men prefer women that are fun, and don't take life too seriously. The woman you described, sounds like the opposite of that.

Sounds like I would be getting a lot of lectures about how the world is so terrible, and other social justicy type shit that I don't really want to hear from my girlfriend all the time. Might lead to a few interesting convos, but more than likely if I have a different opinion it will not be tolerated by her. I'm met women like this in the past.

I suppose so, it's just a general guess (opinion). I have dated quite a bit in my 35 years, I have met and dated many different types of women. I'm basing my opinion on a combination of women that I have known/dated that I would describe as withdrawn, emotional, and deep. And I got the above result, in general.

Are you different? Maybe, I don't know you. But also, I don't think it's something that those women that I described thought they did either, but I thought they did, others thought they did. They were the only ones that didn't see themselves this way.

I think maybe these people who think they know themselves so well, so in touch with THEIR emotions, sometimes have a hard time seeing how OTHERS see them. They think they are fun to be around, but if barely anyone else thinks so, then are they really?

You ask if a man can handle it, so I'm guessing you have had some issues with it in the past. I'm trying to point out, based on my experience, why that might be an issue with men.

Certain men could easily handle such a woman. He would have to be well educated and highly socialized first of all. Intelligent enough and patient enough to recognize her traits and needs, and nurture them. He would also need to be industrious and busy with work and hobbies.. so he doesn’t rely on her too much as a source of social stimulation or entertainment. He would have to be deeply in love with this complex woman and their relationship will be strong.
