As a subjective preference, I like a length that shows some self respect and dignity. I’m more interested in a woman who shows me she’s worth the effort than a quick and easy woman who didn’t take much effort for the whole stable of guys that she’s already been with. I married someone that I trust and respect who still has the ability to pair bond, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Guys, you’d be surprised how many quality, worthwhile investments of time and emotion and resources wife and mother types you’ve likely never given a second glance to who are out there if you look beyond the vain whiny drama queens who look ready to go at all times. It’s better with someone you’ve known a long time and are in a satisfying committed relationship with than it is with the flavor of the week.

If it's outside if could be above the knee, but anything around or above the thigh I'd find inappropriate as it's made to draw attention to your legs which Is great if your a single man but if it's your wife, sister or daughter. Women your responsible for how do you think a man is gonna feel knowing other men will be looking?

Also if a woman chooses to dress for attention which is exactly why they'd dress with a hem above or near thigh level. Why should I feel bad for looking? I'm a man and I like woman, the way they look?

Wow, interesting question. The immediate answer would be SHORT!!! But that’s a 18 year old guys testosterone driven sex drive when the Crack of Dawn isn’t safe lol. I have one preferred skirted like pleated thigh high, it’s very suggestive, panders to a deep rooted Catholic School girl fantasy many men have. But that’s ok when you the same age but as we get older it’s a little creepy, the adult version is the little black dress. It’s the same thigh length and if they have the body for it it’s supper sexy. However the same length fit and flare is also hot. Last, for me at least, is the knee pencil skirt. If done well it can be semi formal, possibly formal and very effective to let women accentuate thier femininity. Oh, knee length sun dress is great.

For me any length is fine. So long as a girl or young woman or woman just owns the look. It depends n the type of skirt/dress you like. I like flowing skirts and A line so they need to be longer. Also I like light flippy skirts that make you hope for a wind gust. I'd like a flirty length on those.

Quite short but also quite long.
I like micro-mini's, pencils, mini's, scooters, A-lines, just above the knee and broomsticks (to the ground). Scooters and A-lines just above mid-thigh are my faves, broomsticks to the floor are a close second.

I think sincerely there’s no perfect length since it depends on who wears it and on legs beauty. In general, I think lengths under the “flirty” one are a bit sconsiderate.
