My boyfriend makes jokes that hurt my feelings sometimes and when I ask him to stop he says I'm being too sensitive?

He always jokes and says I smell bad recently he's been calling me a bbw because I gained a few pounds and last night he told me I was funny looking. He keeps saying I'm being too sensitive when I ask him to stop making these type of jokes sometimes I ignore what he says to me or I try to joke back because I don't wanna make it seem like I can't take a joke. How can I get him to stop making these type of jokes without it seeming like I can't take a joke or have a sense of humor? I already told him to stop but he'll just respond and say "that's how I joke, that's how we play around"
