You're thinking of breaking up, give that real serious thought because what I hear with what you're saying is your two different people, and this is simply the way he is, so can you accept him as he is, or do you need to find someone you're more compatible with and more your type? And if that's the case, you simply break up with him and tell him that the relationship isn't working for you, that you're two different people and leave it at that. Don't "point the figure" and tell him what you don't like about him, there's no need for that (no need to hurt him more, and he also my "try to change" or convince you of it, and you don't want that). Just the bottom line. You're sorry and it's simply not working. Wish him the best kind of thing.
