I usually text him in the evening and he usually replies 11pm and after midnight.

There was an ex who would hit me up early in the day like in the morning or afternoon, but I replied to her at 11 pm when I got off work. I did that for 3 or 4 days straight, hoping to take the hint. I ended up telling her I didn't love her anymore.

Now if I were to do that with a woman, big chance I'm not into her, just interested in sex only

Yup. There was a time when I was yonger that I would have responded, regardless of the time. But now that I've gotten older, I see it as more of an inconvenience. If you text me in the evening, that text most likely can wait.

Umm... yeah... I would say so. In my case, I used to be a much more responsive texter; like instant responses, but I've realized that text is an awful way to communicate with women and it's really easy for people to misunderstand each other. So delays in my responses are just as much because I don't want to appear too eager as they are about me not enjoying that format of communication.
