+1 yI can tell you this:
There was an ex who would hit me up early in the day like in the morning or afternoon, but I replied to her at 11 pm when I got off work. I did that for 3 or 4 days straight, hoping to take the hint. I ended up telling her I didn't love her anymore.
Now if I were to do that with a woman, big chance I'm not into her, just interested in sex only04 Reply
Asker+1 yHmm but he has replied to me like 5pm and 11am
Asker+1 yBut mostly in the evening

Are you interested in this guy in some way? Or are you looking for friends?

Asker+1 yHere’s my recent conversation with him
I sent him a funny pic that I took in the grocery store. That grocery store usually only sells food. Now they were selling hats which had the neighboors name on it (same neighborhood were the store was located) The neighborhood is one of those “bad” neighborhoods that have many socioeconomic problems.
Asker+1 yI sent the pic to him with this emojis
He then replied “ o-ou people of *neighborhood* have cool summer hats now 🤣
Asker+1 yI then replied “ I first thought that it’s a joke. That neighborhood is horrible. Only someone who’s fan of that neighborhood would probably buy that hat”
Him ” phew unfathomable ! ”
Me: what’s unfathomable ?
Him: “ that hat”
Asker+1 yWhat do you think about our conversation?
Asker+1 yWhat’s not normal?
Asker+1 y” has a cheap sense of humor and he is sarcastic also.”
What do you mean?
Asker+1 yYeah he exactly means that he doesn’t understand the hat.
Asker+1 yYou think he’s taking shots at me or something?
Asker+1 yNo I don’t live there. He said the people of that neighborhood. He knows that I don’t live there.
Asker+1 yMy point what do you think about his responses overall. Does he seem to like chatting with me? Was he dry and short with me or the opposite?
Asker+1 yWould it was a casual picture that I sent him.
Asker+1 yWell*
Asker+1 yby the way do you think it means anything that he replies to my late night like past midnight?
Asker+1 yHe’s also replied to me 22pm during that conversation.
Asker+1 yYeah. I’ve usually sent my first message to him around 8pm.
Asker+1 yI feel like he just likes to chat during night
Asker+1 yBut I feel it’s quite intimate if we message each other that late
Asker+1 yIsn’t too from guys point of view? Sending texts to a girl in those hours
Asker+1 yIf guy didn’t want girl to think that he likes her would he text her after midnight (reply to her text)
Asker+1 yIt’s confusing. Because he rejected me after first date because communicating issues. Now I’ve reached out to him again. He’s replying to my texts and like I said often replies to me at night.
Asker+1 ySo there’s chance that we can start dating again?
Asker+1 ySo I should just keep chatting with him :D?
Asker+1 ySo far I haven’t seen yet any major signs. I’ll continue the conversation today and see what happens..
Asker+1 yBut what’s your verdict as a guy? We went to a date so I’m not just a regular girl that he’s sending text at night.
Asker+1 yYes, we went to date before the rejection.

"But what’s your verdict as a guy? We went to a date so I’m not just a regular girl that he’s sending text at night."
Yes I know, you are not some random girl. As I said before, there are cases where the person who rejected the other still like them.
Maybe this guy still likes you. Only time will tell if this time things will progress for you or not.

would it mean anything if you replied to texts after midnight?

Asker+1 yTo me yeah
Asker+1 yWhat would it mean to you?
Asker+1 yEven if you replied to a text that she sent you earlier?
Asker+1 yeven if you didn’t text first and you’re only replying to what they sent to you?
Asker+1 yHe’s 30yrs. He often messages me bacl in the evening. So he’s probably interested?
Asker+1 yby the way if girl takes long to reply to guy do guys usually also take a while to respond to not seem desperate?
- +1 y
Umm... yeah... I would say so. In my case, I used to be a much more responsive texter; like instant responses, but I've realized that text is an awful way to communicate with women and it's really easy for people to misunderstand each other. So delays in my responses are just as much because I don't want to appear too eager as they are about me not enjoying that format of communication.
Asker+1 yYeah also I actually specifically told him that I don’t like texting. Befitting he used to send me paragraphs. Now he doesn’t anymore…
Asker+1 yI would eventually want us to call each other but first I’m testing the waters with him..
Asker+1 yIf he’s okay with that
He replied to you after midnight cause he saw your message after midnight.
That's all there is to it06 Reply

Asker+1 yYeah I think so. Does it show that he sees me as someone “close” or special?
Opinion Owner+1 yThat he is still thinking about you
Asker+1 yI mean he’s replying to my texts.
Opinion Owner+1 yWell that’s a good sign

Asker+1 yWhat do you think about our conversation?
Opinion Owner+1 ySeems like you guys are hitting it off, I hope it works out
Asker+1 yYou don’t think he was being short and dry?
Opinion Owner+1 ySome guys are like that normally, doesn’t really mean much
Asker+1 yYou think he was dry?
Opinion Owner+1 yYeah a little, might be the way he normally is though
Asker+1 yHe used to send me paragraphs before we had the fall out
Opinion Owner+1 yOh I didn’t know that, I guess he is just being civil and trying not to be a jerk
Asker+1 yOr is it because recently I told him that I don’t like texting
Opinion Owner+1 yIt might have something to do with it

He might just be busy, but that is not a legit excuse.
Asker+1 yI mean I’ve mostly texted him in the evening too
Asker+1 yI don’t think he’s that busy. I feel like he prefers to reply to me at night/ evening
Why does this guy wait to text me until after midnight?
