Is it normal or weird for a guy to tickle another guy?

I have this friend Dylan and other day we were alone together talking about they way people laugh or something and then he said "you've got a nice laugh here lemme show you" and then starts to tickle me on my side's and back
Caught me by surprise wasn't expecting that and yeah I did laugh because I am really ticklish. It lasted like 3-4 minutes and then he said "see told you, now i know where your most ticklish now hehe". He's always somewhat teasing me though
So is this normal or kinda weird?

As far as i know he doesn't do this with anyone else just me but we spend a lot of time together, so we are close because we both love the same music so we kinda bond over that, but I've noticed he does get a bit jealous when I'm with other people especially girls. So like could that also be a sign he's into me that way?

For kids, I think it's perfectly normal. I believe the term is "horseplay".

But when you reach adulthood, I think it becomes kind of weird. Straight adult men don't really touch each other a lot because it can be perceived as gay.

Hard to say if your friend is just immature for his age or gay. But even doing that kind of stuff in your teens is a bit weird.

When young no, but it's not something you do as an adult. Unless you had a pattern as childhood friends or something. You simply don't cross their personal boundaries to do that.
