Why do men not conceptualize womens breasts reduce in size with weight loss?

Why is it that men have little to no knowledge understanding women's bra size is due to the overall amount of fat she has on her body.
For example a very skinny woman is likely to be an A cup whearas an overweight woman is more likely to be a D

For myself I certainly do. It is more about how the girls breasts stick out then the actual size.

I prefer slender with correspondingly smaller breasts because firmness is important to me and nipples stand out more on smaller breasts. I'm more a nipple man than a boob man.

I went from D cups to A cups with weight loss and was very saddened there was so much shrinkage in what once was my favourite body part.
That said Im happier with the rest of my body and your right on the corresponding part most female athletes like gymnasts and long distance runners with no excess body fat have small breasts. You would be hard pressed to see a girl with huge boobs trying out for the olympics

Congrats on the weight loss. I don't think you should be sad at having nice A cups. The gymnast look is sexy and the breasts are more defined - which I greatly like. Ballerinas typically have small well defined breasts.

It has nothing to do with weight loss. Men have zero idea about bra sizes period. I was married and with my ex wife 25 years, I have no idea what size bra she wore. I just enjoyed what goes into the bra.

And what I meant was that weight loss has nothing to do with why men don't understand. We just flat out don't know what is going on with boobs period. We don't understand the sizes at all. Most men, esp those who have never been married, have no clue that they get bigger or smaller with weight gain or weight loss.

Most men don't care about cup size, they just don't want someone who is obese. As a guy I know once put it, "bragging that you have big boobs when you're obese is like bragging that your car is really fast as it's falling off of a cliff."

There's definitely exceptions I have a friend who's a DDD and skinnier than me.

Size is also to do with genetics.

I wear padded bras, but not to make my bust look bigger but to fill out certain tops and dresses that hang loose in the bust area.

Like I said most dresses DON'T FIT properly without a bra. The material will hang loose on the chest, yet fit everywhere else. A dress that hangs loose and is way to large on the bust looks sloppy, and if it's a strapless dress it usually falls right down so no, I'm not happy with dresses not fitting properly ☹️

That said I like how the rest of my body looks like not having a big belly and being able to look better in clothes like cropped tops and short shorts.

So it's sort of a double ended sword kind of deal. All that said, I definitely think I look more attractive now.

The thing I'm most happy with is that I have more facial definition
Before I lost weight I had a lot of face fat and no angles to my face (like cheekbones) along with a double chin

Once the weight came off you could see my cheekbones, and I no longer had a double Chin etc.

I agree. Big breasts don't count when the belly underneath them is huge and sticks out even farther then the waste.

Almost all very overweight or obese women have corresponding large breasts, and I am beginning to realize an overall large body is not as appealing to men as a healthy body

Sure being thin and having a large bosom is appealing to most men, but from what I understand, when it comes to girls who can't "have it both ways," it's better to be slim and small or flat chested as opposed to having huge breasts but also being obese.

You have to be lucky with the genetics for a good portion of gained weight to go to desirable areas. There is a balance where a man thinks whether or not her boobs are big enough to ignore her other fat. Unless he's into chubby girls the answer is no a lot of the time. Without knowing a woman's history of weight fluctuation, a man can only guess at the extent the boob size will be affected, because there's no way of knowing.

I just try to focus on the positive. I have a very slim toned waste now whearas before, when I was heavier I had a big belly. I miss my boobs, but I don't miss my double chin, or jelly rolls that went along with the "package."

Once I dated a guy who begged me to loose weight. I had gained 50 lbs and went from B cups To D's over a few years. I told him I was worried about losing cup size, as I had never been thin with big boobs. He argued they wouldn't shrink.

He did not believe me until I showed him and yet he still didn't understand

There is a reason why athletes like gymnasts and figure skaters with no body fat have very small breasts and plus sized women tend to have huge breasts.

There obviously is exceptions but bra size has a lot to do with overall body fat.

i think most guys are well aware. it makes me cringe seeing girls over work out at the gym thinking they’re gonna lose it if their belly but it’s mostly their boobs and ass that lose size.

The more active I become the more my breasts shrink. I went from ample D's to A cups when I lost all my excess weight. I have since put a small amount of the excess weight back on and am back to a B or small C cup.

Weight loss has different effects breast wise when it comes to women.

Absolutely true. That said some women have large breasts only due to being obese, in other words they might wear a D cup when they are obese but only an A if they lost all the excess weight.

Very few, as breast tissue is made of fat.

Look at plus sized women most have very big breasts

There are exceptions of course, in both categories but breast size can change dramatically due to weight gain or loss

If you look up naked anorexic women, who are severely underweight you will realize they almost all have no breasts whatsoever

B cup used to be the norm but now in the us it is closer to a D or DD I believe in part due to rising levels of obesity.
