Why would someone act this way?

Was sitting minding my own business when this person (male) walked towards me. I think he saw me from afar and was walking towards where I was sitting looking for an excuse to talk to me.

If someone wants to talk with someone, why wouldn't they approach them? Unless you're wondering why he wanted to talk with you to begin with; in which case, I would think he liked your look, but you'd be better off asking him directly.

Maybe he thought you were attractive and wanted to get to know you so he walked closer to you instead of yelling in your direction
