Have you ever met somebody who tried to date people they did not like or respect?

I used to know a guy who wanted to date me but he had no respect for me. He once asked me to help him find a job and I said I would not help him because he disrespected me in a previous dialogue and he became angry and rude when I said I would refuse to act as his job reference, he said I deserved his disrespect in previous conversations because my behaviour was stupid. And years later we were at the mall and he told me I was making him angry and I asked him what I did that was making him and his response was, “just, look at you!” (Like my demeanour and social manners somehow made him angry) and then several years after that, he was calling me on the phone and I complained to him about how the waitress kept trying to sabotage my low carb diet by giving me decaf coffee instead of regular coffee because decaf has more carbs, and he accused me of lying about that for no reason whatsoever and with no evidence or possible motive whatsoever for why I would lie about that. I hate him so much I would celebrate if he got burned to death in a car accident.
