It is better to show your vulnerable side. I guess. When you try to keep it intact and had to bring the walls down for someone not worthy, it tears you apart. You will never get fully recovered from it. Cuz, you can't forgive yourself for giving it out to that person. Show your vulnerable side; if it is mistaken, you can leave that person happily... with your sanity. This is just my thought.
