He has the right to know he has produced a child, but only you know him and how involved you want him to be in your life, so the decision is yours to make. You don't need to complicate your life or the life of your child. Even if you don't want him in your life, knowing he impregnated you might make him more cautious in the future and not put others in this situation. Both of you had equal responsibility in making this happen, so don't lay blame.

If you have already made up your mind what you plan to do, you may not want pressure from him to do something else. He could demand to be a part of the child's life. You could get a court order forcing him to pay child support. There are many considerations to make. Don't make impulsive decisions you'll regret in the future.
