Boyfriend said he will move on quickly if we ever break up?

We have been together for a year now, he really loves me and the only guy that has ever loved me that much, he has always been there for me.

Now here’s the thing, he had an ex a few years ago and he got over her after 4 years, Even though she left him for someone else. But he said that he got so used to the pain that he can forget me very quickly and will forget about my existence just right after he smokes a joint. And whenever he smokes I’ll gradually disappear from his head day by day, which it wouldn’t be a big deal if we broke up. Could that be true or is he saying that to seem tough?

after a guy gets zeroed out, that is what he went through with his ex. He learns that relationships are temporary and with women being typically the one who files for divorce and or decides to break up with their boyfriend. Men come to realize that his wife or girlfriend isn't his at all it was just his turn with her. And his turn can last 5 minutes or a lifetime depending on how he plays his role in the relationship

Could definitely be true, I am the same way. Although I wouldn't spontaneously tell a girl that.

I can love a girl with all my heart, but once we break up I'll get over it quick because I've had way more adversities in my life than a break-up.

It works like that with everything though, not just relationships.

a lot of guys minimize their emotions because women require it. He may just be in a don't care mode, obviously he doesn't want it to happen but if it does oh well
