My boyfriend is sweet at first but after a year of our relationship. He become shady like he seldom call or text me. I learned he has time to talk to other girls or make time with friends. I feel neglected and say to say I am always the one making a call or doing an effort even if I am the woman. He is not used to be like this. Until such time, I told him. "I am afraid I am just a disturbance to your life priorities. Just call me when you are available and want to talk to me." From there, I did not call him anymore.

There is a new man who arrived to my life. He is always there for me and make time for me even if he is not yet my boyfriend. But he always make an effort of doing the calling and comforting me when I have a problem. He likes me a lot but the problem I still have a boyfriend and I am still in love with him. But sometimes, I feel tired of chasing from my boyfriend.

I think you should break up with your boyfriend. Your needs are not being met and you already are defeated in the relationship, you’re giving up. That isn’t a healthy relationship because of the lack of communication and efforts.



There’s no point for you to continue staying with your boyfriend if both of you are already “checked out” of the relationship. You two aren’t going to have a healthy relationship unless you two both put in effort and communicate, but it doesn’t seem like that will happen.


You already have a guy in line, who treats you how you want to be treated, and you probably will develop feelings for him, and lose feelings for your boyfriend. If you stay with your boyfriend and continue this “relationship” with this new guy, it could be considered “emotional cheating.”

None of that can be guaranteed. Look at how her boyfriend changed after however long in their relationship… It doesn’t really matter. If her relationship with her boyfriend is going down the drain, even after communication and effort, then what’s the point in staying?
