It’s always been that way from what I can remember. Same reason most homeless people are men. Most people don’t care about men’s issues, we’re expected to suck it up, move on you w our lives. There’s no real organizations for men’s issues. Women get pink ribbons for breast cancer, we donate money every year. But nothing for testicular cancer. Why no pink ball sack ribbons? Lol

Men tend to have more risk taking behavior and will go through with suicide.

I think the media has convinced them they are losers if they do not drive a rolls Royce or have a bikini model as their wife or girlfriend. In the 1900s, people who worked at factories were honoured and respected and now they are treated like trailer trash.

There's no safety net for men at any level, with the exception of family, and many men don't even have that. Men MUST be successful or it's over, and for those who aren't slackers supported by their parents, men feel that pressure every single day.

Men have always been providers and protectors, but they could generally count on having a partner at home who helped raise the family and make his home life a little easier. The expectation to provide and protect certainly hasn't been reduced, but men today are now expected to do far more - and if he's married or has children, his girl can always leave him and financially rape him on the way out, and keep his children from him. I can't tell you how many guys who came home from work to divorce papers, or had his woman and kid (s) gone, and especially here in California, she can steal the kids and deny him visitation - even when court-ordered - and still collect money from him.

Guys get injured at work and are often treated with contempt by employers and coworkers. Some are asked to do psychologically damaging jobs, such as combat vets, firefighters, police officers, rescue workers (human and animals), etc., but men who seek mental health care are treated horribly.

Several studies have shown that domestic violence is about 53% male and 47% female. There are over 3000 women's shelters in the US - most funded by tax dollars - but the 1 privately-funded men's shelter that was opened was continually protested by radical Feminists and SJWs and was ultimately forced to close by the city government, because it's misogynistic to believe that men can be abused.

90% of homeless are men. 98% of dangerous jobs are performed by men. 97% of workplace deaths happen to men. 99% of major workplace injuries happen to men.

Yet, men are seen as expendable, and society doesn't care about men's suffering. As I said, there are virtually no social safety nets for men, even though it's taxes paid by men who are paying 70% of the bill. Family courts are overwhelmingly against men. And modern Feminist society attacks men at every opportunity, yet demands ever more from men.

This is why a lot of men are checking out, and staying in their basements playing video games, and not seeking relationships with women, and not working to excel in their careers. When you feel like you have no chance to get what you want, despite doing everything "right", why would you be motivated to work hard for things that you either won't get or can be so easily taken from you?

And for men who feel they've failed in their responsibilities, either to their family, to their business/employees, or to themselves, often suicide seems the only option.

Because society tells us (especially white men) what we do is never good enough. If we succeed it is only because of white male privilege, if we lose to people of color or women, then we are left to feel completely worthless.

Prob because some men get ptsd from wars and end up killing then selves because of sadness while women aren’t forced to go into drafts martial law etc

Suicide is the #1 cause of death for men age 21-45, and it only drops down because at 45 men begin dying of heart disease.  Why you ask? Because no one gives a fuck about men. No one.
