Why can't men be hoes?

It depends on your point of view. Men can certainly act much the same way, and in that sense, can be hoes. But it's also true that men and women are very different, and are judged for different things.

The vast majority of women can get sex (not love or relationships - I'm strictly talking about sex here) VERY easily. As a woman, if you decided you wanted to get laid, you already know for sure that you can be getting laid within the hour. You could go to a bar, a bowling alley, a pool hall, a restaurant, a movie theater, etc. and find a guy who is reasonably attractive, and "convince" him to come home and bang you. You could, in fact, find several different men per day to do this if you tried. And you wouldn't need to spend a dime to do so.

For the vast majority of men, getting casual sex is DIFFICULT and TIME CONSUMING and often EXPENSIVE on top of that. For a single guy, getting laid is an ACHIEVEMENT.

But even more than that, women generally don't care about a man's sexual past, and most women PREFER to be with a more experienced partner who knows how to please her and could maybe even teach her something. Men, on the other hand, value IN-experience and low body counts. One reason for this is because it was traditionally the only way to ensure paternity of children, but another reason was that it takes very few sexual partners for a woman's pair-bonding ability to be destroyed, which means she's no longer suitable as a long-term partner.

Women are constantly projecting the characteristics they value in men ONTO men, expecting to be valued for those same reasons, but men want different things in women than women want in men, and just as men can't tell you what things to value, women can't tell men what to value in women.

It's all about what standards men and women have for each other. Women simply hold men to a much lower standard with respect to promiscuity. Instead of telling men to lower their standards, why don't women just raise their own?
