Why do I hate the girl, I was madly in one-sided love with at highschool. It is 6 years and I still hate her irrationally.
I hate to acknowledge 'I loved her' to myself.

Hatred is merely the projection of our disappointment that our expectations weren't met. When you can come up with realistic expectations, that anger can dissipate. Just acknowledge her different preferences aren't a judgment of you. If you go to a restaurant with someone, and that person orders a different menu item than you, can you accept that difference, or do you take it personally. Confident people don't feel threatened by differences in others.
Because you did not love "her." You loved the way you felt when you were around and /or thought of her.
