I agree they shouldn´t date but for different reasons than you might think. They shouldn´t date to figure WHY they are nice. Are you nice so to get your way? Are you because you want people to see or acknowledge you? Or are you nice because you genuinely like to help people and you´re happy if people get helped.
I see both types describing themselves as a "nice" guy. The problem is that "nice" guys can fall into traps either they are egoistic in their heart and use being nice to get their way OR they are too nice in terms of having no backbone and do everything so that people get helped while their own needs get neglected.
Therefore as long as a "nice" guy doesn´t know how to avoid either trap he shouldn´t date.
