There's this guy who constantly flirts with me one day - like full-on teasing and showering me with attention, and then ices me out the day, he's so hot and cold with me, I'm not sure what to do

I would straight up ask him. That’s what I did and I did get somewhat of an answer but he does have some mental and emotional problems. Asking him would be your best bet in my opinion.
