Asked my crush if he’s interested in getting to know each other better?

I recently asked my crush if he’d be interested in getting to know each other better since today is my last day of work. His response was “for sure. You seem like a good person” I’m not sure if he mistook that as getting to know me as a friend or not. I even told him I like talking to him and he said “yeah always a good vibe. Will keep in touch for sure”. What do you think? I tried to make the question look like I was shooting my shot but I don’t know if it was too vague.

I think it was maybe too vague, he might think you were just being cordial or friendly, I don't think he is thinking it was you letting him know that you like him romantically.
