Would he give us a chance?

I’m 21f and this new guy is 23M and recently we started chatting because I had him on social media and he decided to start convo with me, I’m interested in him I think he’s a cool guy and would like to see where it goes. Problem is a couple months ago like around march I downloaded a dating app to meet new people. I matched with this guy who’s 25M and it was causal talk I wasn’t flirting with him cause I didn’t know how I felt yet. Him and I have each other on snap and we don’t talk at all sometimes he will swipe on my story and send me heart eyes to which I reply thank you! Because I’m not rude and it’s a compliment. About a month ago 25M asked me to go to the movies with him and I told him I didn’t want to go and sorry and he said it was fine. So point is me and 25M never hung out or nothing. Well 23M since I have his socials I was looking at his pictures and just my luck I see one of him with 25M 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I investigate and I’m like are they friends or? Kept looking it seems that they are most likely close cousins😭. I wonder if this goes forward would he feel some type of way and stop talking to me because of it. I don’t want to bring it up cause we barely started talking and I don’t want him to know I was looking on his page. If you were him and in that situation would you cut me off? I personally wouldn’t have a problem with it cause I never hung out with the guy but again I’m not a guy and I don't know how guy code works.
