I guess for trying to devalue men in the process as is happening now. Devaluation, brash hating, trying to gain superiority over men rather than getting equal with them, and that too in the worst ways possible will surely have some repercussions.

What you think matters, absolutely. But the 3rd wave is the one being highlighted the most. It is natural for people to look at what is being highlighted, and assume that for the entirety of the gender.
Hence, looking at the condition right now, even if many of the girls are really nice, honestly are good, the hard and seen experience of the not-so-good girls solidifies the assumption.
