Well sending music like that maybe he is trying to show you that he is artistic or has a kind of taste I doubt he is expecting you to deeply analyze the music. Maybe just tell him how it makes you feel, like is it sad, happy, thoughtful or what. Overall he obv. likes you, do you like him?
