What would you think if you asked a guy what his favorite song was and he replied with a song and said it made him feel things?

I had asked a friend what his favorite song was and also said any girl that ended up with him would be a lucky girl, because he is really nice guy and is pretty cool. He replied with a song called Digital bath by the deftones. If you listen to it, it sounds like a give song. But I'm not sure what to take from it.

We are started out as platonic friends, but everytime he mentions me or hears my name he becomes more playful in how he acts and smiles a lot, so its hard to tell if he like me platonically or not. Thank you very much for your question!
