What is you opinion on men opening doors for women, pulling out their chairs to sit at a table? I often get mixed reactions and it is so confusing?

With the exception of formal occasions, I'm not big on pulling the chair out. It can pretty awkward very easily. As far as holding doors? If they are within a reasonable distance I'll hold the door for anyone. Exception: if it's a dude who is a stranger he has to be REAL close.

I think they're old-fashioned and haven't gotten the message that most women hate and/or don't appreciate gentlemen anymore. No guy under 40 does this anymore, cause he's smart enough not to get MeToo'ed or dogged out by some ungrateful c*nt calling him "sexist" for it.

It's nice, my husband does that for me all the time and I appreciate it. Opening doors for others is pretty much common courtesy around here, but I still appreciate it as well.
