This guy I was seeing no longer wanted me to contact him anymore after us having sex for some time. I didn’t understand it. I still wanted to remain friends but I try and respect his wishes. Anyway, two weeks ago we were in contact and long story short we end up having sex. Afterwards he didn’t want me to contact him anymore afterwards after making me guilty for having sex with him even though I didn’t want to even see him and it was not my idea. I again respected his wishes and did not want to contact him again. So I told him to block me and he said he would but he did not. A day after, I started to think about him blaming me for our last encounter. I felt like I had to confront him about it because I didn’t feel it was fair so I just left him a message expressing how I felt. He then told me to leave him alone. I told him no worries, you are not worth my time anymore and then he blocked me. He could have blocked me a long time ago but I guess he was truly done with me.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter. Maybe he just hadn’t gotten to the blocking thing or forgot all about it but it’s done now. I’m sorry if you’re having conflicted feelings about the situation but this is for the better.

The feeling of being completely discarded is very conflicting and it honestly is quite painful.

Start telling yourself ‘I don’t lose them, they lose me’, and watch how things change once you really start to believe it. Ending things with a guy you really like sucks a lot, but being honest with yourself that situation wasn’t going anywhere, just back and forth and one of you needed to shut the door, end the game. I think what’s upsetting is that it should’ve been you to finalize that situation many times before, but by blocking you, it’s him doing it. It’s unfair and I can understand you feeling discarded, but you’re not trash and not thrown away. What’s done is done with him, all you can do is make better choices going forward with the next guy.

I’m not disagreeing with you but what I am saying is you should maybe should try understanding it from my perspective. I am someone who is still quite new to the dating thing. I didn’t start dating until I was 23 and I’m now 25. This relationship was my second only.
